My name is Hannah, and for this project I am combining my love for enamel pins and The Office. Michael Scott had many ideas throughout the years, but the t shirt idea he had while saying goodbye to Jim on his last day in the office - a shirt that says, "Goodbyes Stink" - really summed up the feeling of seeing Steve Carell go, and later of saying goodbye to The Office itself. I wanted to bring that idea to life, but in pin form, and I'm hoping that others will like the idea as well. Help me bring this ode to Michael Scott into being!
In order to make this happen, I am looking to raise $300 to cover the cost of pin production, packaging, and Kickstarter fees. Any funds raised beyond that will be used to put in a larger order, or to try to reach a potential stretch goal, depending on how things are going.
The pins are $11 each, but there are ten discounted early bird reward slots, so hop on board early and get your pin for just $9!
The reward for this campaign is, of course, my Goodbyes Stink T Shirt enamel pin. These hard enamel pins are 35mm high, with black nickel plating and one backing post. If the campaign is successful, the pins should hopefully be ready to send out to backers by late March.
As I have already had this pin design approved by my manufacturer, I will be able to put them into production as soon as I receive the funds from Kickstarter if the project is successful, which should be around the middle of February. The time it takes for pins to be produced can vary based on a number of factors, but the pins should arrive to me by late March, at which point I will quality check each of them and get them sent out to backers as soon as possible. At that point, US backers should expect to receive their pins by mid April, and international backers should expect to receive their pins by the end of April.
Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges of this project mostly lie in the pin production itself. Though I have not had any issues with pin production in the past, I've certainly heard a lot of cases of issues coming up during the process of manufacturing enamel pins. If any issues do arise, I will deal with them in a timely fashion and keep backers up to date on what is happening.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
