Hey there Singularity Supporters.

While we were writing that last update, you all just propelled this spectacular project past it's funding goal, and with 13 days left, we're still going strong.

Additional funding will mean we can offer even more to you, our supporters, and we'll have details on what that means in the next day or so.

We've started working on a thank you video, but you all got us here so quickly it isn't ready yet (we thought we'd at least have until tomorrow morning, but we're not complaining).

Keep an eye out for something special, and thank you so very much.

If you are an SFWA member (or know one), we need your help...

Woah. Just... Woah.

When we went to sleep last night, we were planning on thanking all of you profusely for getting us to 2/3 funded in the first 15 days of our Kickstarter.

But between going to sleep in the wee hours last night, and waking up this morning, something changed.  We are now well over 3/4 funded, and have gained some serious momentum in the past half a day.  And we still have nearly 15 days to go.  Woah.

We can't thank you enough for all of your support. This project grows every day, and we ourselves keep finding new reasons to love being involved in it.

We're guessing that our new intro video (featuring the incomparable Sir. Arthur C. Clarke) may have something to do with last night's surge in in support. If you haven't seen it yet, please check it out.  We think it's pretty great (if we do say so ourselves).

But Wait, There's More.. (or Every Book Has a Story)

So we're zeroing in on what our t-shirts are going to look like, and we can't wait to get them ourselves, so we're hoping that those of you who have pledged for them will be very happy. We'll be soliciting you input about the design in the next few days, so keep an eye out.

Our to be determined swag will also be shared for your approval in the next day or so. Progress is good.

Speaking of progress, our first book project is well under way, and we've realized something.  This is part adventure, part detective story, and part story about the intersection of the past and the future.  As we dig into a particular book, and pull on the various threads that we need to to make sure we can share it without taking something that isn't ours, we end uncovering the story of that book.  So as part of each release, we plan on sharing that story, telling you what we learn about the book, it's author, it's history, and the adventure we had bringing it to you.  So far from where we sit that alone is worth the price of admission.

Matching funds! It's a 2 for 1 special!

Good news, everyone!

Great news, actually but we still need your help, and the help of your friends. A benefactor who has requested to remain anonymous has promised to MATCH EVERY DOLLAR THAT WE RAISE, up to our initial goal of 15K.

That means every dollar that you contribue counts twice towards our goal of bringing some great, not so well remembered books into the digital age.

But there's a catch:  We only get the matching funds if we meet our Kickstarter goal.  So please help us spread the word and get us over the top!

For our part, the matching funds mean that we may just be able to super size the rewards of all of you gracious and wonderful backers who want to help us SAVE THE SCIFI!

But Wait, There's More!

Books are arriving every day, and there are more gems waiting to be ebookified than we have room for...

But that's ok, because it looks like we may just have found the space for our Brooklyn bookshop.  Think big floppy ears.  More news soon.
