I recorded my first album, The Future, in a converted garage in Encino, CA - having moved to Los Angeles from Copenhagen, Denmark, after falling in love with a girl in Pasadena (we are now married!). I performed at open mics in Hollywood and met enthusiastic people, who wanted to help me take my music to the World. I was young, shy and slightly overwhelmed, but I manifested an album that I'm really proud of and which got me signed to LoMax Records in London. Subsequently the album went to no. 1 on the Amazon UK charts, was in the iTunes UK Top 20 and got playlisted on Britain's largest radio station, BBC Radio 2. It landed me tours supporting Ingrid Michaelson, Morcheeba and Emmylou Harris and a gig at the legendary Glastonbury Festival (first ever Greenlandic artist) - placements in several films and TV series, but most importantly it helped me build a fan base of people who appreciate my particular brand of folky pop music...

Now it is time for the next chapter!!
I have loads of songs, I have the studio and musicians lined up, all I need is YOUR HELP to make the album and ensuing marketing campaign a reality, so not only you, but also those humans currently unaware of my existence and music will have a chance to discover it - this means making music videos, online/print advertising, and touring.
I have decided to make this album independent from a record label, but that doesn't mean by myself it means WITH YOU...
$35K is the minimum I need to make the kind of album I want to make. It will cover musicians' fees, two weeks studio time, mixing, mastering, manufacturing of CD's and vinyl, travel/accommodation expenses plus postage/shipping costs to send out all the rewards to backers - Kickstarter also takes 5% and Amazon 3-5%. If I raise more I might have money for a music video, marketing and touring...
This is the track list (subject to change) for the new album:
Man On The Moon
We Don't Want Life To End
I'm A Soul
Like A Rock
My Father Told Me
All The World Is Green
All You Try To Hide
The Absence of Fear
Please help me record them with some of the best musicians in the world!
