Hex: a magic spell; a curse.
Sometimes, things don't work out.
Sometimes, you wonder what exactly it is you've done to wind up in the trouble you're in.
Sometimes, it feels like you're cursed.
Taking place in the same universe (The Hexiverse) these four diverse stories will unnerve and disorientate you.
They are tales that happen to the everyday people, your neighbours or your family, perhaps even your best friend, and you'd never even know.
When Brendan was a boy, he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. That is, until a strange man gave him a pebble, and told him not to lose it.
Since then, he's kept it safe, but that hasn't stopped the ghost of who he once was from getting closer. When he moves back into a house he visited when he was younger, the drawings start again.
The drawings of the boy.
And he's always getting closer.
Ben has suffered from nightmares all of is life, filled with strange corridors, and even stranger monsters within, able to take corporeal form by stealing a lock of his hair.
He's spent his whole life tracking them down, and now there's only one left; the original one. On a ferry, in the middle of a river, it's time for his final showdown...
Connie misses her son, and her marriage is falling apart. Empty with grief, she barely lives an existence.
Then, she is visited by two demons, one a messenger, the other, something else entirely...
Lee arrives at a nursing home in the middle of nowhere. When he looks for help, he is met by Greta, a 101 year old resident.
This is no ordinary home, however, and both Lee and Greta have some unfinished business inside...
Look up, look out.
Familiar, right? Normal, right?
Same stuff, different day? Almost.
Everyone has a story. Everyone has experienced something they dare not repeat, something unexplained, something inexplicable.
But we bury it, and pretend it didn't happen.
Guess what? That's the Hexiverse. And you're in the middle of it.
We're running 'Hexes: Volume One' Kickstarter campaign to help raise the funds to print the graphic novel.
Using Kickstarter, we're able to reward our backers by offering Kickstarter exclusive rewards, as well as the guarantee you'll be receiving the book first!
'Hexes: Volume One' is 100% complete and, bar the backers names being put into the book, ready to go to print.
Kickstarter is a fantastic site, which helps us reach as many people as possible, and we're always delighted to hear the great feedback we receive from our fans.

Hexes: Volume One is written by Blue Fox Comics co-founder and award winning writer Simon Birks.
His other comics include Sinners, Hexes, Gone, Robyn, and The Girl in the Midnight Gown, which have all successfully raised funds for printing using the Kickstarter platform.
Ege has been drawing stuff since he was just a little lad, especially endless countryside views with lampposts following them.
He decided to convey his ideas trough comic books when he was a high school junior. Then, he found himself as a comic artist.
Nowadays, he is drawing 'The Boy Who Came Closer' and 'Robyn' for Blue Fox Comics. In what is left from his time, he is working on his personal graphic novel.
Lyndon is a UK freelance illustrator, writer and comic artist. Working with publishers such as Blue Fox Comics, Hellbound Media, Disconnected Press, ComicHaus, Capstone Press, Lyndon is a rising star in the comics industry.
Working on a range of titles with his own unique flare to horror, surrealism and narrative storytelling.
Residing in the Arthurian mists of Tintagel North Cornwall Rory has worked on numerous titles such as Cast Adrift & the highly successful Griff Gristle Here Be Monsters & Sirens Song for Madius comics, The Phanes by James E Roache , Wrong Time Wrong Place by Chris Sides for 100% Biodegradable & Resurrection Men by N.S.Paul along with others that under the fear of death he's currently not allowed to mention.
As well as some personal projects & recently signing up to Comichaus with a story by Jon Laight he has got a very busy year ahead.
I have this dream of being a comic artist since I read my first comic when I was a kid. After many years of doing other things I finally had the chance to make a living of what I do love; COMICS.
It's not an easy task here in Argentina, but I've been working hard since then and here you have me, some titles published and a lot of experience; I even have my own title called "Suinda" http://headshrinkerspress.com/product/suinda-print/ thanks to my friend Travis Huber and the Headshrinker's Press crew.

The 'Hexes: Volume One' campaign runs mid-October to mid-November. We will then send out surveys in late November, print the book and create the merchandise in early December, before sending the books out to the backers in January.
We have contingency built into this model, to cater for any unforeseen delays.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our campaign. If you've got this far, then we hope you've found it interesting.

We hope you join us in the Hexiverse!
Risks and challenges
Since 2015, Blue Fox Comics have directly run eleven successful comic book Kickstarters, and have helped two other projects get funded.
We have a very good understanding of exactly what it takes, not only to run a Kickstarter campaign, but to successfully deliver on the rewards.
'Hexes: Volume One' is complete, with the only outstanding tasks being to add backers names to the back of the book.
As soon as that task is complete, we can send the book to the printers.
Should any issues arise, we will let you know immediately, along with any action we need to take.
Feel free to look at our previous Kickstarter campaigns for evidence of our ability to successfully communicate with our backers post-campaign.
