Why 'The Girl in the Midnight Gown'?
Recently, I went shopping for new books with my young daughter, and we went to the graphic novel section of the bookstore. I searched through, looking for something that would be age appropriate to her, but found very little I could buy.
Thankfully, being a comic book writer and publisher, I knew there was something I could do about it, so wrote 'The Girl in the Midnight Gown' to give children of all ages an interesting, exciting, diverse and inspiring story to read, alone or with a grown up.
We're running 'The Girl in the Midnight Gown' Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to print both the softcover and hardcover graphic novel.
Using Kickstarter, we're able to reward our backers by offering Kickstarter exclusive rewards, as well as the guarantee that you'll receive the book first!
'The Girl in the Midnight Gown' is 100% complete and, bar the backers names being put into the book, ready to go to print.
Kickstarter is a fantastic site, which helps us reach as many people as possible, and we're always delighted to hear the great feedback we receive from our fans.
We wanted to make your reading experience for 'The Girl in the Midnight Gown' as immersive as possible - we wanted you to really get lost in the story - so we decided to commission some special music from the amazingly talented Paige Lehnert, that you could listen to as you read it.

Risks and challenges
Since 2015, Blue Fox Comics have directly run ten successful comic book Kickstarters, and have helped two other projects get funded.
We have a very good understanding of exactly what it takes, not only to run a Kickstarter campaign, but to successfully deliver on the rewards.
'The Girl in the Midnight Gown' is complete, with the only outstanding tasks being to add backers names to the back of the book, and to draw the backers who've pledged at a higher tier.
As soon as those tasks are complete, we can send the book to the printers.
Should any issues arise, we will let you know immediately, along with any action we need to take.
Feel free to look at our previous Kickstarter campaigns for evidence of our ability to successfully communicate with our backers post-campaign.
