I am going camping on September 1st with my wife for the firs time in our marriage. I already missed other travel and trips with this and this is the last big one of the year. I would really like to have the iPhone X stuff I ordered on my last big trip of the year.
Also since I am getting the new iPhone it may be the only time to use this case before I get you case upgrade. It would go far for me if I could use what I ordered for at least one trip before I get my new phone and your case upgrade offer.
Please give me some good news.
So your going to give a free upgrade for the new iPhone case. Great. How much longer will we have to wait for that then. I presume that you would still have to make the cases for those as the dimensions aren’t confirmed....??

Why is it that Kickstarter Backers can't get the same update?
Apologize for the slow updates, truth be told, we been hitting quite a few manufacturing issues for the past 6 weeks, sorry we have been in the dark, but we finally are able to solve all issues and is now back on track to ship rest of the products.
One of the major issues was packaging, we underestimated the confusion that our packaging supplier experienced. As we have 34 different packaging and each packaging has 5-8 components, we have around 200 pieces of components here. As this product is very specific to the lens industry, we failed to recognize early enough that some of the packaging printing has mixed up. Leading to the needs to reprint many of them...
Another challenge we been facing is the minimum requirement from our Fulfillment Center, FloShip, imposed. We have to have all the product ready and shipped to their warehouse before we can issue the request to start shipping. We have been trying to negotiate a few times with them hope they can give us an exception, but unfortunately, we failed to move forward without all the stocks in place.
But we would like you to know, today we have everything in place finally. and is going to forward to Floship's warehouse. We will begin fulfillment anytime once they (Floship) received them.
Once everything has been ship out, we will make another update again to notify.

Your e done your marketing and promotion of your product and barely any of your backers have received it.
I’m not new on Kickstarter but I’ve dealt with some of these kind of campaigns that either don’t deliver. Or just deliver really late. Is it possible to get a refund on Kickstarter?
I’m considering cashing out and requesting refunds from those campaigns that have become a disappointment.
I mean the new iPhone will be out soon and I’m due for an upgrade anyway so I don’t know if it’s even worth waiting for this....

@Mike aren't the two bottom lenses macro? Id imagine you need to get very close to your subject (within inches) for it to focus. Try it on a coin and see if you can get it to focus, also remember to tap on the screen of your phone to lock the focus point too.

I received an email from Backerkit too. And I read the update on indiegogo and I'm actually impressed. My holiday starts in 3 weeks, I keep hoping 🤞
@pae - we didn’t get ripped off. We get an extra lens.
The reason I wanted refund was I can just walk into retail store and buy if off shelf. We as backers just got rip off.

Have received an email from Backerkit this morning that Shiftcam are getting ready to ship my product. Still hasn't shipped, but looking positive maybe.....

scratch the comment below -- it's only the 2 lenses on the bottom giving me issue. the top ones do work decently well.
Got my 7+ traveler's kit today -- but the pack only fits on 1 way, and the bottom lens doesn't even focus properly! so instead of 6 extra lenses, I got 2
Not to mention the front lens and the rear ones can't be on at the same time!
We must report this project to Kickstarter !!

Why 34 SKU’s at once?
@SHIFTCAM you may say that you're doing your best, but you just keep repeating one phrase. You've been asked multiple times one simple question: When? Which you failed to respond and you're still trying to get out with some general talking. I've seen some of your other projects which are in the same phase as this one for much longer. You provide us with no informations and I don't believe you anymore. If you won't provide either tracking numbers or reasonable excuse until the end of the month, I'd like to ask everyone here to report this project to Kickstarter and continue resolving this issue with them.
We fell for this again they didn’t even deliver their first product on Kickstarter yet.

As for now, we are trying our best to get all the 34 SKU's to the warehouse and meet the fulfillment company's requirement of having to meet their minimum number of available items to begin the whole fulfillment process. Furthermore, reason why we are having a hard time getting our factory to manufacture all 34 SKU's at once is because it is at best with manufacturing in assembly line style that optimize in doing the same thing faster and faster. Hope you do understand. We definitely do not want to have any more delays, it is in our best interest to see every one of you using ShiftCam and make great memories. To be fair, Shiftcam replies messages on their facebook account and it is pretty quick, I messaged them in the morning and got a reply (Preparing to ship, hopefully by end of the month.) already. Then again, it would be good if there is an update, even if it is just photos of them packing or preparing to ship, that will be slightly more assuring than having to keep waiting without any communication on kickstarter. I believe all (at least most of us) the backers would understand if there is delay or if more time is needed for preparation, keeping silence just make many of us feel like the project is not moving anywhere.
Haven't got my reward yet since the launching day in Hong Long.
If there’s any problem or issue with your production, suppliers, packaging or whatever, please update your backers here. We all deserve to know what’s going on. If there’s delay, let us know. Your backers wouldn’t be so mad or annoyed if you being transparent.

Why can I not ask for refund if this project is proved a “re-sale” one which against the rules of Kickstartes? Why should Kickstarter not shut this down?
So when the new iPhones come out in September? I can assume this shiftcam will be useless?
