About this project
What is She's a Beast?
In the midst of love and perfection, Charles's girlfriend, Karen, transforms into a beast. A literal beast in Charles's mind. This dark comedy follows Charles's emotional journey after the break-up: his thoughts, his delusions and hallucinations, his erratic behavior, the memories of Karen before she grew claws and fangs. Bouncing from narration to flashbacks of their relationship and his breakdown, Charles explains the breakup and his erratic behavior as he makes his way to win his ex-girlfriend back.
Why should you pledge?
We've all had that break-up. Horrible ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, unforgettable heart break, or even the guilt of being the heartbreaker. Whether yours happened twenty years ago or yesterday, losing someone you care about is something that changes us. She's a Beast sympathizes with, satirizes, exaggerates, and reminisces on those post break-up feelings.

Risks and challenges
Some of the challenges that come with making "She's a Beast" are things like costume design. Creating a believable looking monster for our actress to turn into has been a project within a project so far just in the planning stage. Between the costume itself, the makeup, and maneuvering her transformation, it's going to be the biggest issue with this film. Your help will make the costume much easier, so we can afford makeup and pieces of the costume that will look believable.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
