The Collector's Box

Hi everyone,
We conquered the conqueror!

There were a few people early on asking if there was a physical prototype of the Collector's Box insert. Sadly, there isn't. Otherwise I'd be showing how everything fits together in a video. Now, I'm no 3D expert, but I had a go at putting together a quick mock up, just to give you a better idea on how everything will look in the box....

Between the two card slots, there is plenty of room for sleeved cards and all expansion cards, including the bonus cards from Runesaga. There's also space for the new Valkyrie Dice from Fields of Fame. I've designed the insert in a way that everything locks in tight. So when you open the lid, nothing should be mixed up at the bottom.

Thank you all for your ongoing support.

      Shem,

It would be nice for you to provide a PDF map of how YOU setup your insert. Hopefully, if you provide it as a downloadable PDF, the only cost will be an hour or two of you time, cutting down on cost. A few games in my collection have done that (or included a physical printout in the game box) and it's been a help to an inept person such as myself! :-)

Regardless, thanks for making a 'box of holding'! I HATE having everything spread across a half-dozen expansion boxes. Wish this was more common.

@Randy/Einar: It will be a molded plastic insert.
@Andrew: Yes, there is room for FF sleeves (which I also use).
@Yallow: The Runestones could be kept in the same compartment as the plunder bag (slotted down the side).
@Monica: I've tired to keep all the little compartments as similar in size as possible, so should be easy to figure out where everything fits.

Will there follow some sort of a map over where all the components go? Sort of like in Colosseum? Looks like a lot of little rooms for each and every part of the game. Nice and neat!! ;)

I've been storing the runes from Runesaga that are specific to each game in their respective boxes instead of the Runesaga box. Will there be room in this box for the runes, perhaps in the card slots with the cards on top of them?

Similar question as Randy. Is the box foam or plastic? I am assuming it is not wood like Broken Token based on the pics.

When you say enough room for sleeved cards; please check with Fantasy Flight Sleeves (pretty please). They are a bit thicker than other sleeves and I have been burned by that being said in the past.

Has it been said what material the insert will be made of? Or is it something we'll assemble (i.e. like Broken Token stuff)?

I really like the idea of inserts
