**UPDATE: WE MADE IT! GEEK LOVE is officially a go! We've also hit Stretch GOALS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9, which means we have music, t-shirts, wallpaper, a free book, more pay for contributors, more pages, signed steampunk pin-ups from Jen Page, the GEEK LOVE audio book, a fold-out centerfold, and full-color custom-printed endpapers!
Geek Love. It's nerdy, wordy and a little bit dirty. It's 200 pages of geek-themed erotic stories, accompanied by full-color art and comics, all from some of the finest authors and artists in the industry.
Think of it as the comma sutra. As full-frontal nerdity at its finest. As the bestiary of geek sexuality, proving once and for all that there’s nothing hotter than geeks in their natural habitats.
Electrifying play with Tesla? We’ve got it. Hot gamers tapping that? Check. Making passes at girls – and boys – with glasses? That’s just the beginning. We’ve got sexy librarians, raid nights, geek boys in leather and lace, tentacles, sexbots, superheroes and high-tech toys galore.
With cover art by the talented Galen Dara, Geek Love is a hard-bound full-color masterpiece that’s going to look great on your gaming table or your bondage bed. But the anthology is far more than just a pretty face – it’s also got a killer body. Stuffed with savory stories and loaded with sensual full-color art, comics and photographs created by some of the industry's most talented authors and artists, Geek Love is a collection you’ll want to share with special friends and spend all your free time boning up on.

Geek Love isn't just smart and sexy. It's also sex-, gender- and geek-positive. The stories and art in the collection showcase and support a broad spectrum of geeks, genders, body types, classes, races, abilities and sexualities. Sure, we think hot cosplayers making out is fantastic. But we also love the quiet gamer girls in the corner, the shy dude who fixes the company computer, and the primly OCD librarian who sternly reprimands us for overdue books.
Speaking of overdue, we believe a collection like this is way overdue. And we believe in paying our authors and artists what they're worth, so we're Kickstarting the project to pay our contributors, and to cover the costs of the cover art, layout and printing.
Won’t you join us for a little Geek Love? It’s time to play the Doctor, pet Schrodinger’s kitty, and roll up that pair of natural d20s.
We’ll be in our bunks!

The Geek Love Crew is a bunch of geeks who believe that there's nothing hotter than a couple of nerds getting it on. We're geek- and sex-positive in all its forms, whether your kink is girls with guns, guys with glasses, aliens with appendages, or something in between.
GALEN DARAis an illustrator who has worked with Edge Publishing, Dagan Books, Apex, Lightspeed Magazine, Scapezine, Tales to Terrify, Peculiar Pages, Sunstone, and the LovecraftZine. She is on the staff of BookLifeNow, blogs for the Inkpunks, and writes the Art Nerd column at the Functional Nerds. When Galen is not working on a project you can find her on the edge of the Sonoran Desert, climbing mountains or hanging out with a loving assortment of human and animal companions.
LEE MOYER is an illustrator and designer. Check These Out, Lee’s 2012 pin-up calendar, has won many admirers, and 2013's calendar is underway. Lee was nominated for a record three Chesley awards this year, and plays a mean game of Anagrams.
JANINE ASHBLESS is a multi-published British author of fantasy-themed erotica. She started playing Dungeons & Dragons when she was thirteen years old, in the chemistry lab during school luchbreaks, back in the day when the Monster Manual had that terrible pastel-blue cover. That was it - the start of the slippery slope. From there it was Call of Cthulhu and, yes, dressing up and doing LARP. She still indulges in both, just more slowly these days and with more tea breaks.
SHANNA GERMAIN has geekery in her genes, thanks to some form of alien pod-splicing that happened when she was a baby. An award-winning writer and editor, with more than 350 published stories, novellas, novels and essays under her leather collar, she's a lover of all things kinky and geeky. Favorite pastimes include gaming, writing sex toy reviews, and perfecting her secret superpower of falling up stairs.
BEAR WEITER is an illustrator, animator, artist, and writer. His fiction appears in a number of magazines and anthologies including Black Static, Rigor Amortis, and Slices of Flesh (many previous works were under the pen names Jacob Ruby and Virginia Ray, but he has finally decided to brand everything under one identity—his own). You can follow him on Twitter @bearthw.
JAYM GATES is a publicist, editor and author. She can be found on Twitter as @JaymGates.
THE DOUBLECLICKS are a nerd-folk duo based in Portland, Oregon. The Doubleclicks – also known as Angela and Aubrey Webber – perform delightfully geeky songs in a way only a pair of sisters can – using their cello, ukulele and sweet harmonies.
KICKING IT FORWARD: We are strong supporters of Kickstarter, of crowd funding and of awesome products getting out into the world. So we'll be Kicking it Forward, which means that we agree to give 5% of finished product profits back to the Kickstarter community!

We have an incredible line-up of contributors for this collection, which we'll be revealing as we go forward. Backers will even get sneak peeks at story excerpts, art and comics!
Our Table of Contents is full of erotica writers, sci-fi and fantasy novelists, game designers, porn stars, actors, freaks and geeks! Some of our contributors are names you probably already know and read. Others are pseudonyms of people who are better known for tackling other sexy, geeky endeavors. (At some point we might even play "Guess Who's Behind the Pen Name!").

Want samples of some of the goodies that our Geek Love artists are offering?
Moogly made a sample of her Kraken sonic screwdriver/vibrator cover! Isn't it the cutest thing ever?

And here is an example of Manuel Aguilara's custom geeky art creations:

The Geek Love posters are going to look a little something like this (Galen is still working out all the sexy little details):

We'll be revealing images from Lee Moyer's 2013 Literary Pin-Up Calendar next week, the cover of which looks like this:

S&H:
We're covering the shipping on all items in the Continental U.S. and we're happy to eat some of the costs of shipping everywhere else. But we are asking backers outside the U.S. to cover the difference (Sorry -- we wish it was cheaper too). Just add the additional amount to your pledge and let us know it's for shipping.
We're very open to adding additional reward options, so if there's something you'd be interested in, feel free to drop us a comment!

In case you love us -- we mean REALLY love us -- we also have what we think are some pretty awesome stretch goals planned.
$10,000: MOOD MUSIC -- REACHED!
At this level, the Doubleclicks – girl geek band extraordinaire -- will write and record a brand new song based on the contents of the book. This reward will go out as both a video and a downloadable song to ALL backers of every level!
FULL FRONTAL NERDITY -- REACHED! At $12,000, we'll offer an add-on of GEEK LOVE t-shirts. These will be available in your choice of a beautiful mocha v-neck girl cut or a handsome camo-green unisex style. They are $35 (S&H included, please add $10 for international) in a wide range of sizes.

THE DICE ARE LOADED -- REACHED! At $13,000, we sent all of our backers some awesome loaded dice wallpaper!
SEXY ON THE PAGE -- REACHED At $14,000, everyone who bids at the BIG O level and higher will receive an advance ebook copy of Shanna Germain's forthcoming book, "Sexy on the Page: How to Write and Publish Your Erotic Stories." Jen will be sending signed pin-up prints to all backers at the BIG O level and above. This is a Geek Love exclusive!
GOLDEN COINS -- REACHED! Starting at $15,000, we are offering additional pay to all contributors, to the tune of $25/contributor for every additional $5,000 stretch goal we hit (so $25 more each at $15,000, an additional $25 each at $20,000 and so on!).

$25,000: WE'll BE IN OUR BUNKS -- REACHED! This is our "pie-in-the-sky how awesome would that be" stretch goal! At $25,000, the print copy of Geek Love will include a fold-out centerfold! Yes, we said centerfold. As in, a scrumptious piece of art tucked into the middle of the book that unfolds into three whole pages of sexy nerdity! When we say stretch goal, we really mean it.
$30,000: THE HAPPY ENDING -- REACHED! At this level, we'll be adding custom-printed endpapers to the print book (e-book only backers will get this digitally as well). Hurray for more beautiful, sexy art!
EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS: If Kickstarter backers pledge for a minimum total of 500 copies of the print book (which decreases our printing costs significantly) we will add 100 extra pages to both the PDF and print book. That’s a fantastic amount of extra sensual geekery, all for the price of your original pledge.
