    2. Michael Caldwell on March 11, 2013

Great to hear! My geek/nerd GF is tired of being teased about her Xmas/Valentines present. lol

    3. Shanna Germain Creator on March 8, 2013

Yep! We just heard from the printers, and everything is going smoothly. They expect the books to be in our hands in two weeks, and then we'll be shipping them asap!

So it's been a month since the last update. Any news about when the books will be finished?

    5. Serge Lecler on November 20, 2012

      Oups !!

She is as pretty as you, Shanna :)

    6. Shanna Germain Creator on November 19, 2012

I'm not the model -- that's Jen Page, a geek model and actor.

    7. Serge Lecler on November 18, 2012

There are two: the same picture in color and in white and black.

      Many thanks for everything, :)

    8. Serge Lecler on November 18, 2012

I received great pictures !!! I look forward to receiving the e-book.

Shanna, are you the model on the pictures? There a

      Thanks Shanna. :)

    10. Shanna Germain Creator on November 8, 2012

Heya! Yes, you'll get the ebook and all of the digital goodies in the first week of December, but probably not the print book until after xmas. You can give her a digital version as part of the IOU :)

    11. Evapilotone on November 7, 2012

Hey Shanna, do you have any idea what sort of date we're looking at for delivery to the UK? Just wondering whether I should wrap an "IOU" for my Fiancé. This isn't a chase. I'd rather you're happy with it than rushing it out, as my Fiancé is aware that one of her gifts might not be quite ready. :)
      Many thanks.

@ Shanna: Just sent you some lyrics ... let me know what you think! :)

    13. Michael Caldwell on September 27, 2012

Congrats! And...doh! Can I still add the money later so I can get another copy??

    14. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

You. Are. All. Motherfucking GEEK GODS.

      <3!

    15. Grant Kinsley on September 27, 2012

LOL, no kidding. I hope this exceeded your expectations. You deserve all the success you earn from this and working with Monte. You are both inspiring people. I am proud to have been part of these kickstarters

    16. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

@Grant: We should have made custom bags a stretch goal, so I had something to carry them all in!

    17. Grant Kinsley on September 27, 2012

and that 350 books is a heavy load. I'm glad that I'll have one of these personalised collector items

    18. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

      SWEEEEET!

Use your words, Shanna. Use your words.

      SWEEEET!

      :)

    19. Grant Kinsley on September 27, 2012

@Shanna, congratulations on your super successful kickstarter from this sophisticated, charcuterie making, world traveling, medicine practicing gamer geek

    20. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

@Michael: I posted it in the comments a while back, but it probably got buried. Sorry about that!

      Here it is again:

@Michael (and everyone else!): If you've pledged at the BIG O level or higher, you can now add-on additional print copies of Geek Love for $55 or signed copies for $70 (S&H included in both).
Just add the difference, and we'll ask you what it's for (and who you'd like us to send it to) after the KS closes.

      :)

    21. Michael Caldwell on September 27, 2012

I never heard any definite info regarding ordering a second copy of the book....will this perhaps be an option after the KS ends? I'd like at least a soft cover copy to give to a friend, or the option to give an electronic copy as a gift...

    22. Grant Kinsley on September 27, 2012

look at those numbers today, nearly $1000 bigger than the first day

    23. Ben CasualCore on September 27, 2012

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's okay with you getting hot and bothered over these large numbers :D

    24. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

@Grant: We have dark chocolate as well. You are spot-on!

@Ben: Thank you so much. I am in a space of delight.

    25. Ben CasualCore on September 27, 2012

35 days and more than $32,000 later, the Geeks have felt the Love :) congratulations Shanna on this amazing project that has more than exceeded all expectations!

    26. Grant Kinsley on September 27, 2012

a lovely port is an especially nice way to celebrate, and in the best of nouveau tradition, you should have that port with some dark chocolate, dopamine kicks for all

    27. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

Also, all lovely backers: The kickstarter closes in less than two hours. I'm on the east coast right now for a writer's retreat, so at 11PM (my current time, 8PM PST), we will be having some lovely port to celebrate the project's success.

I hope you can join us from wherever you, in doing a celebratory dance in honor of nerdy, dirty words!

    28. Shanna Germain Creator on September 27, 2012

@Grant: It's just so awesome! Geeks really do rock!

@James: Thank you so much. And also: hahahah. That second comment was awesome.
