14 day campaign; only 2 weeks to pledge!
This campaign seeks to fund a new set of tabletop RPG treasure cards in the Pixel Loot series, featuring common weapons and armor found in your favorite fantasy worlds. This will be our 4th set of Pixel Loot treasure cards, with Adventuring Gear, Gemstones, and Pixel Loot Blanks already for sale on DriveThruRPG.
Arms & Armor 1.0 will feature 50 different cards, each with a pixel art sprite of a unique weapon or armor, along with system-generic stats for use in your favorite role-playing game. Here's a full list of the cards planned for this set:

Pixel Loot is a series of treasure card decks for use in any fantasy-themed table-top role-playing game. Each card represents a different item, with a name, picture, flavor text, and game stats (cost/weight/damage based on 5e, but perfectly compatible with 3.5, 4e, and Pathfinder). There are between 12 and 50 unique items in each deck, intended for DMs to randomly draw when creating loot for their campaigns, or for players to conveniently keep track of what their character carries or wears.
Best of all, Pixel Loot cards have a retro 16-bit style that lets players feel like they're playing an old SNES or Genesis RPG!
Treasure cards are great at simplifying the game for both players and dungeon masters. No rolling or tables are necessary for determining what players find when scouring a dungeon: they simply draw a card, and hold onto it until it's used. The descriptive text on each card is written in a way that helps immerse players in the game world, and some even suggest potential plot hooks.
AS A DUNGEON MASTER, you can customize your players' loot finds by adding or removing cards, or combining multiple decks, then just draw cards at random for quick and easy rewards. No more clunky loot tables and excessive die rolling. Just draw a card and hand it to the player!
AS A PLAYER, you can use Pixel Loot cards to easily keep track of what your character is carrying and using: Put a d20 on the "Arrows" card to help remember how many shots you have left. Put a d6 on the "Trail Rations" card to help remember how many days of food you have left. Does another character need to borrow your rope? Just hand him the "Hempen Rope" card! Never forget who has what, and say goodbye to character sheets blurred with constant erasing and re-writing!
Our minimum funding goal of $400 is all we need to finish up Arms & Armor 1 and deliver it to your doorstep, but if we can reach some higher funding goals, some free bonus cards will be headed your way as well! Every HERO backer or better will get all bonus cards at no extra cost!

ROYALTY ($44) - You get everything from the CHAMPION pledge, but can also add your own new loot card to the mix. These cards will also be included in a future set of Pixel Loot cards available for sale to the general public.
Risks and challenges
Pixel Loot is being manufactured and fulfilled by OneBookShelf (DriveThruRPG/DriveThruCards), a successful print-on-demand publisher of countless card games and role-playing games. We've already published three product lines through their service, and have always been very pleased with the quality and service they deliver. Pixel Loot cards are printed on the best card stock they have available: Premium 11.8-pt. thickness, 305gsm black core card stock from French paper manufacturer Arjo-Wiggins. This stock or nearly identical stock is used on some of the most popular trading card games.
About half of the artwork for Arms & Armor 1.0 is already finished, the remainder should take about a week, and then the manufacturing and shipping (direct from the printer to your doorstep, no middleman) should take 2 to 3 weeks (up to 5 for some international orders). We're planning to get rewards to backers within a month of campaign end, but if we unlock a lot of stretch goals, that may push things back a bit (though not much).Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
