Thanks to you AWESOME BACKERS, we made our initial goal! We can now pay that very large invoice about to arrive from the city of San Francisco.

But wait, there's more. It's not too late to call yourself a proud backer of Shadow Angel Films! Because we were shooting in such tight quarters on the bus (see the time lapse video for proof of that!), we had to switch up our camera and equipment plan. The rental cost of that ran over $800, and we would welcome your contribution to that as well.

If you've come to our page and you like what we do, please join in the fun. You can still get cool rewards from us, our very deepest gratitude, and know that you made a fantastic film project possible! Yes, you!!

Heather Donnell and Chris R. Smith are thrilled to announce the production of their next short film! This film is about a relationship under pressure and the complications that get in the way of the couple's attempts to communicate. Six months into their relationship, Craig and Angela each have something important to tell each other, but can they find the courage to say it? One bus ride changes the course of their relationship forever.

We (Heather Donnell, writer/director and Chris R. Smith, cinematographer/editor) are independent filmmakers in San Francisco. We are driven by a love of stories told through movies, and we’ve produced four short films funded by our own means over the past two years. For this film, however, we’d love your contribution in funding of the bus rental. The cost of the rental includes the required hourly payment of a unionized municipal bus driver in addition to a municipal inspector.

We’re so happy to join this amazing online community and share creative space with other artists. The world is an inspiring place and full of artists who respond with vision and passion. We encourage you to check out the other projects!

Thank you for spending time on our page and please spread the word to your friends! Visit us on the web at shadowangelfilms.com to watch:
