There are currently seven Era games, which we have produced over the last 5 years.
Every one of those has amazing content, a detailed world and hundreds of possible adventures, all running on the same Era d10 Rule Set (with genre-related rules modules).
But we want to give you more! We believe that when you have one of our Rulebooks, support for the game isn't finished, it's just beginning.
So, with The Era Zone, our contribution to "Zine Quest", we want to give you new material for all of our games, as well as some great setting-neutral material which can be applied to any game!
We're planning to produce a minimum of 2 issues this year (which will hopefully increase to 4, if we meet Stretch Goals!), containing new ideas, unique material and more!
In every issue, we'll be including different content, addressing every one of our published games.
In issue 1, we will be offering:
We aim to offer a variety of material for every game and 2 to 4 issues which will keep your group guessing for the whole year round!
In future issues, we'll be including sneak peeks of what we have coming, additional rules, material for our latest games and more Q&As with Ed Jowett, the creator of the Era Games.
We hope you'll join us in this celebration of Indie RPGs!
Missing one of the games? Now's the time to get hold of it (at a Kickstarter special price)! Scroll down for the full list.
The subscription will give you all of the issues we produce in 2019!
If we are Funded, you will get 2 issues this year.
If we reach the $800 Stretch Goal, you will get 3 issues this year for no additional cost.
If we reach the $1200 Stretch Goal, you will get 4 issues this year for no additional cost!
Note: As we reach the Stretch Goals, we will be closing off the initial subscription prices, so the first people to join us will get the best deal!
As always, we'll be speaking with the amazing people who want us on their shows!
Check out the We're Not Wizards podcast, where I spoke about The Era Zone (around the 47:00 mark is where it starts!).
I did a Q&A on the RandomWorlds Chatroom, where I was asked about the content and I gave some more specific answers about issue 1!
...and more to come!

Risks and challenges
This is the 40th Kickstarter that Shades of Vengeance has run over the last 5 years!
While we haven't been mistake-free, we're very proud of our on-time delivery record. We use each successive Kickstarter to build on the lessons learned from the previous, and we learn fast. At this point, we're confident in our ability to deliver the rewards we're committing to and to keep you informed if there are any delays.
This is our first ever Zine, but we have an established layout guru, a printing method for this type of book from our Comics Division and artists all all lined up... along with the creator of the games to write and edit the material we're producing.
Issue #1 is already completed apart from artwork and layout, so we're waiting to see how the Kickstarter goes to begin work on Issue #2!
We're dedicated first and foremost to continuing delivering you the best material we can, and secondly to bring it to you on time. We hope you'll support our efforts to do that!
Please note that we print and ship from the UK, due to being based there, so prices are set accordingly!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
