You are an Evil Mastermind, just waiting for your time at the top!
Of course, you're not alone in that, and you'll have to defeat the others if you want to rule the world as the Evil Overlord!
Unfortunately, your rag-tag army won't fight together, so you'll have to go to the "Evil Minion Market" and trade away the minions you don't want!
- Evil Overlord is a Deck Building game condensed into 5-10 minutes
- It is for 3-10 players of ages 6+
- The cards represent the troops in your army
- You can only play one army type, so you trade away the cards you don't want to the other players!
- Everyone gets to trade, not just the loud people!
- Doesn't require a moderator or phone app!

Here's a detailed explanation of the Battle Phase, for those who want more information:
If you want a little more visibility of the cards themselves, we did a table view video as well!
Finally, here's a second Battle Phase resolution as an additional example!

Note: These are not available for the Evil Mastermind Tier. All other Tiers receive them automatically!

Risks and challenges
This is Shades of Vengeance's 31st crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and third game which involved cards.
While we haven't been mistake-free, we've always delivered on or ahead of time (except for two occasions, where a delay was agreed with Backers to give them more content!). We use each successive Kickstarter to build on the lessons learned from the previous, and we learn fast. At this point, we're confident in our ability to deliver the rewards we're committing to and to keep you informed if there are any delays.
The game is already completed and 100 packs have already been created for playtesting and demonstration. All we need to do is run a larger print run for the backers who pledge to this project and then distribute the packs - something we have a lot of experience in!
We're dedicated first and foremost to continuing delivering you the best material we can, and secondly to bring it to you on time. We hope you'll support our efforts to do that!
