Hello everyone!

Hope you had a nice weekend? I certainly did, as I was up in Leeds at the terrific comic festival, Thought Bubble.

Before I get into that though, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for backing The S Factor. It really means a lot to me and Chris that you're helping make our dream become a reality. At the moment, we're on track to being successfully funded but there's no harm in shooting for the stars. So, if you get the chance this week, we'd really appreciate it if you could share The S Factor with your friends either offline or online - THANKS!

Anyhow, back to Thought Bubble...

I had a whirlwind of a day, meeting some comic heroes of mine, including Charlie Adlard, Jamie McKelvie, Kieron Gillen and the Etherington brothers. Who were all very kind and encouraging about The S Factor.

I also caught up with (and met for the first time) fellow indie creators that I speak to on Twitter. Most notably, I bumped into Dave "Killtopia" Cook in the street and we had a good old chinwag about creating comics.

Finally, I picked up a couple of new comics that I've been meaning to get for a while. First, was NPC Tea by my Little Heroes collaborator Sarah Millman. And second, was an all-ages comic called Gallant and Amos by Rob Barnes and published by Fair Spark Books.

Cheers, and speak soon :) SGL
