About this project
The San Francisco International Women’s Film Festival (April 6-10, 2011) (SFIWFF) has a long tradition of providing the community with some of the best films directed and co-directed by women from all over the world. Since 2004, the San Francisco International Women’s Film Festival has presented an elective program of narrative, documentary and international features and shorts films. SFIWFF film screenings serve as a catalyst for creating and facilitating dialogue through the power of independent filmmaking and represent a range of perspectives, both locally and globally. SFIWFF is a vital and much-needed community forum that is widely reviewed and attended. The 2011 selection of diverse films celebrates the exceptional contributions of women in the world of cinema and represents a convergence of excellence in filmmaking from around the globe.
This year marks the 7th anniversary of our exciting festival. We need your help to continue the tradition of amplifying the voices of women and girls through film and new media.

WHAT DO WE NEED MONEY FOR?
The primary cost for the festival goes toward paying the theater rental fee (as well as publicity, advertising, printing programs, outreach, etc.) so that audience goers can connect with empowering films and filmmakers alike.
CAN WE EXCEED THE GOAL? Yes! Exceeding the goal would help us pay for additional costs of the festival.
I'M NOT IN THE US, CAN I STILL PLEDGE? Yes, you can pledge from anywhere.
CAN I GIFT AN INCENTIVE? Yes, it's the giving season! To "gift" your reward to someone else, please follow the normal process with the pledge and payment in your name. Once we've reached the deadline, we'll send you an email requesting the information we need to fulfill the reward (contact information, etc.)
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MONEY ISN'T RAISED IN TIME? If our goal isn’t met before the deadline, we don't receive any of the pledges. Your credit or debit card will not be charged.
HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU? A couple of ways, you can send us an email through this kickstarter website OR you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
