New Stretch Goal: PC/Mac Port

Hi all!

Firstly, Adam and I want to thank everyone who has backed the game so far! Seeing all of the pledges and comments coming in has been amazing and has really spurred us on. So thanks!

A lot of people have asked us about the possibility of a PC/Mac port of Detective Grimoire. Well, we're happy to announce that we're setting a stretch goal for the project!

Stretch Goal #1 - $30,000: PC/Mac Port

That means that if we reach a funding total of $30,000, we'll use the extra money to immediately begin work on the port. $5,000 may not seem like a lot for a port, but the tech we're building the game with (AIR) makes the process fairly easy. It'll mostly be a case of making changes to the graphics, and making sure any mobile-specific features are made more desktop friendly.

Anyone who pledges / has pledged at the $4 level or higher can now choose to receive the game for PC or Mac instead (if the goal is met of course). We estimate that these new versions will be released around a month after the mobile versions, and both will be completely DRM free!

If you know of anyone who might enjoy the game on any platform, please do tell them about it! Every extra pledge will take us closer to both the funding goal and the new stretch goal.

Thanks again everyone!

Daniel, it should work just fine on Windows 8 Tablets. The game checks for touch-screen capabilities, and uses them if it can, but falls back to mouse if there aren't any!

Pawel, it should be, but I'm guessing you won't need to now!

Jamie, I wouldn't write it off just yet, there are still 3 weeks to go, and we have lots going on to get the word out! Thanks for backing though!

It looks like funding for this isn't very likely... so I'm surprised to see a stretch goal.

until now i was hoping it will be playable on android emulator/sdk :)

nice for PC port, but maybe you could look at seeing about getting it to work for Windows 8 tablets... already played some demos on RC version and it's really slick so at the worst try and keep touch controls as option
