Is van life really the next American dream? Are we as a culture abandoning traditional lifestyles for something alternative that’s more fulfilling? And if we are, is this lifestyle actually making us happy?
I was deeply curious about this so I decided to find out. Last summer, I jumped into my Sprinter van and crisscrossed the entire Western United States (logging over 18,000 miles). I traveled to meet with 40+ key figures within the van community in order to get the inside scoop on whether or not van life is a fleeting trend or here to stay.
Now, I have enough original footage to make one heck of a documentary about the sociology of van life.
A SNEAK PEEK AT WHAT I CAPTURED
THE FILM IS 90 PERCENT FINISHED
At this time, all the hard work is done! Most of the film production budget has been raised, everything has been planned, and all the traveling / filming has commenced. I just need to raise a little bit more money to cover post-production costs.
Offering high-value Kickstarter rewards is how I plan to finance the rest of my documentary. (Check out the rewards on the right side of this page) -------------------------------------->
I’ve put together a whole heap of cool products that will entertain you, teach you stuff, and hopefully enrich your life. Everybody who supports this project will receive credit in the film!!!!

Risks and challenges
My first two Van Boom Kickstarter projects were unsuccessful, however that hasn't stop me. I found the bulk of my funding elsewhere and managed to get the film shot. Creative endeavors always come with inevitable risks and challenges, which need to be addressed and circumnavigated. I am prepared to tackle any and all challenges in order to produce a high quality documentary.
I TAKE MY FILMMAKING CAREER VERY SERIOUSLY AND WILL BATTLE TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL MY PROMISES ARE KEPT AND ALL MY BACKERS ARE HAPPY!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
