Hi all,

Last week, we promised you some exciting updates - and we’re here now to deliver!

On Wednesday, Jordan and I went to Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles to see just how much readers know about the involvement of women in comics. We asked them a few questions about female fans and creators and captured their answers on camera. Check out the video - what you see might surprise you!

We also have another special announcement to make: we want you to be a part of She Makes Comics!

That’s right! This film would not be possible without your support, and we want to honor you, our generous backers, by including your own voices in the film. We’re calling on our backers to submit a short video of themselves answering the question, “Why do you love comics?” Record yourself in a 15-20 second video and email it to us at shemakescomics@gmail.com. We plan to use a number of these clips in She Makes Comics, although we can’t guarantee that yours will be included.

Stay tuned for more updates from the team, including the unveiling of some new rewards! (Hint: one of them has to do with Neil Gaiman!)

Thank you all so much for your continued support. Keep on spreading the word!
