Who is ALICE IN DISSONANCE?
ALICE IN DISSONANCE (AiD) is a Japanese doujin circle formed in 2011. It is comprised of 2 core members: the founder, writer and director, Munisix, and an in-house art director, Hare Konatsu. Munisix brings a refreshing spin on the visual novel platform with his unique fusion of Western storytelling and Japanese anime-influenced artistry. A strong advocate for originality, he wishes to share AiD’s creative productions with audiences from the East, West, and the rest of the world.
Who is Sekai Project?
We are a startup based in Los Angeles with members across the globe working together on a single goal of getting greater exposure to indie creators. We utilize various social media platforms to connect to both the fans and creators to the content and goals they want.
Raymond Qian: Believing in the vision of joining fans and creators in the Western market, he founded Sekai Project. He has built the foundation of the company on accessibility for all peoples and cultures. As the founder of Sekai Project, he is primarily responsible for the well being of the company's staff, finances, and direction.
Chris Ling: He has worked in the Western anime industry for nearly a decade, building the links necessary for an undertaking as large as Sekai Project. As the co-founder, he uses his experience, wisdom, and finesse to get the job done. Without his help, Sekai Project would not exist today.
Why are we using Kickstarter?
ALICE IN DISSONANCE is a small doujin circle made up of a handful of people who are working on fault during their free time. The funding from Kickstarter will not only get the game translated in English but also allow the circle to add extra cutscenes and improve character sprites. The initial goal set for this campaign is the minimum level of improvements AiD is willing to make for the English release. If the goal is surpassed the circle is planning to publish the artbook and bring fault milestone one to mobile platforms.
What is fault milestone one about?
fault milestone one is the first of a series of visual novels created by the Japanese doujin circle ALICE IN DISSONANCE. The story revolves around a princess and her royal guard who have been accidentally teleported to the other side of the planet while trying to escape a brutal attack that has devastated their homeland of Rughzenhaide. The “milestone series” tells the tale of their journey home. fault milestone one will be released on Steam for PC, OSX, and Linux.
Who are the characters?
Why is it called milestone one?
Milestones are the circle's way of naming episodes. fault is about a journey, and wanting to reflect that “milestone” was chosen as a fitting name to denote each episode of the story.

Risks and challenges
From our experience we've seen that even with the best planning that it's easy to go in the red in a kickstarter project due to physical reward tiers. We still wish to provide the best possible incentives for all supporters so the biggest risk is not being able to cover costs even being fully funded. We take the risk of covering all additional costs ourselves and will still strive to release in a timely manner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
