Wait... so the dinged up box I got wasn't just me? I figured it was simply the mailman cramming it into the mailbox.
The whole point of FLAC is that absolutely none of the original audio data is lost in the compression process.
Yes, FLAC is larger than MP3. But while you can readily use any number of free audio conversion programs available on the net to convert FLAC to MP3 (or any other lossy audio formats) for a more suitable file size for your personal use, you can't restore audio data permanently lost by lossy audio formats.
NO, NOT FLAC!! I HATE FLAC!!!
In all seriousness, I do hate flac. The same song in mp3 is about 4-5 mbs, but is 20+ in flac format. Too large!
The wait has been long. I'll flip if it ends being damaged.
Ok, this is looking good & step up from last update. This is exactly what I want to hear. No more bollock excuses. A proper compensation for backers who received damaged rewards at the end is nice to see. I'll give you benefit of doubt about your promise.
Just for classification, are the one who's receiving "Signed Rewards Backers" are having their rewards delayed or will they receive non-signed & signed version of their rewards in separate packages? e.g. KS BOX in first shipment package & signed KS BOX in second shipment package.
I'm pleased to hear that customs is sorted and I'm fine with waiting as I'm quite happily going through the VN on Steam.
Packaging the KS game box in envelopes with bubble wraps inside is a bad choice for shipping. Luckily mine wasn't damaged at all.
Sekai Project should be more careful when shipping collector's boxes. This should have been shipped in a box to prevent damages.
Regarding US replacements, I've only recieved an email saying I was on a list and they were investigating. Is that the "recieved response"?
