While CLANNAD's anime has experienced a fair amount of popularity overseas, releasing the game in English had previously been thought of as pretty much impossible. As 2014 marks the 10th year anniversary of CLANNAD's original release in Japan, we thought it would be a great year to try to release the game for the first time to an English-speaking market!

After much debate and consideration, we have decided to re-translate the game in order to provide the best possible translation for CLANNAD! The team of translators we have hired to work on CLANNAD are industry veterans who have worked on many titles such as the hit series Attack on Titan's manga and light novel.

Yes, as CLANNAD has never had an 18+ version, the English release of CLANNAD will also be all-ages just like the Japanese release.

The Mabinogi album is a song arrangement album which came with the limited-first press edition of the game as a bonus when CLANNAD was originally released in 2004. It includes many of the wonderful background songs from the game, as well as the enchanting opening song of CLANNAD, Mag Mell!

The CLANNAD fanbook is 80-pages long and was another bonus item which was included in the original limited-first press release and will be translated in to English!

While we would love to do so, for now we will be focusing our resources on releasing CLANNAD in English on PC alone. However that might change after we have a discussion with VisualArt's and other companies involved in the ports of CLANNAD.
