The Xadow Duino is built around the ATmega32u4 MCU with built-in micro USB. So not only it can be directly controlled by the built-in software of RePhone Kit Create, also it can work independently if you write and upload your own code use Arduino IDE.
It also has it's own battery slot (same as the one on the RePhone Core Module GSM+BLE), so you can power it in three ways:
- 1. Connect your Xadow Duino to RePhone Core Module GSM+BLE
- 2. Lipo battery
- 3. The built-in micro USB (you can also charge the battery on the Xadow Duino through this micro USB as well)Last updated:
This board will make your life much much easier and bring more possibilities to your RePhone project.
It draws out 30 pins from the 35 pin Xadow connector to five rows of 0.1’’ spaced holes with 0.1’’ spacing between adjacent rows. If you solder wires or through-hole headers directly to the breakout pads, you can easily access:
- up to 16 General Purpose Input/output (GPIO)
- interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART etc
- pin-outs related to peripheral devices like speaker, audio head phone and microphonesLast updated:
