Hey Everyone! At this point we have shipped all of the blankets AND belts (the blankets have all been shipped for several months now and the belts were all shipped out a couple of weeks ago.) There still might be some international backers who haven't received their belts but those should be arriving any day now. We REALLY want to make sure that everyone has received their products. Today 5/4/18: Ok so where is it? Is it on its way? It’s been 3 weeks since you sent the message.
Multiple emails, still no response. The supplier agreed to refund my extra fee, but I've heard nothing since the start of February...such poor customer service and incredibly rude.

I think an apology for over pricing our receipts so we paid extra duty is in order honestly. I can’t believe they just ignored everyone and continued to do this. Making us pay duty on shipping because of how you wrote up the receipt is cruel to backers.

Used my blanket in the snow today to have somewhere to sit while my kids played. The wetness didn't penetrate the blanket. The snow that got kicked on top of the blanket melted with the sun and evaporated quickly. I kept sinking to my knees walking around while my kids just float on top of the snow. My pants had a chance to dry in the sun as I relaxed on the blanket. Very happy with the purchase. Can't wait for summer picnics.

Their website has been up and running for a while. I left an unimpressed review a couple weeks back and there were a few others there as well. Checked again this morning and they’ve deleted all the bad reviews. I’ve contacted Kickstarter with my concerns butwill now be contacting the Better Business Bureau
I honestly think this lack of communication is RIDICULOUS. I have now sent multiple emails and messages via social media and have had absolutely no response. Your team is clearly incredibly unprofessional and do not care about your customers. For a Kickstarter campaign, this is unacceptable.

It's just disappointing the creators either made a mistake and didn't acknowledge it, or they just don't care. How can we recommend this product to anyone if most people are being hit with a crazy customs charge?
I'm sorry, I'm not paying £40.00 import charges. Apparently I have 20 days to pay up or its being sent back. Well send the blanket back for all I care. I want a full refund. That is just insane!

@Seasons you said to contact you directly if we had any concerns. It’s been two weeks since I’ve reached out. Even acknowledging the email would be appreciated. Stonewalling a costumer when you have made an error is not professional

Yay 49,89 euro import taxes... roughly 60$. That's almost a second blanket. That really wasn't such a smart move. It crumbles this happy cookie... how to explain to the wife she holds a blanket of almost 200$ :s
Got mine in Adelaide today. No taxes. Luckily the stakes were free, because I can pick them up for under $1 each from my local camping/outdoor store.
Yep, just picked mine up in the UK. £34 import vat! Why did you declare the value more ($30) than I paid? And $10 for 4 crap stakes? Really? You really do get nothing for free nowadays.
Camping in a British winter this weekend so let's hope the blanket is worth it.

I love how the creator completely ignores everyone who was screwed over by higher customs because of their inflated invoices they sent out. That was clearly their mistake. Most shippers will put the actual cost not retail price or lower the cost to not screw over their buyers. You guys added more to our invoice so we had to pay customs on a higher we didn’t even pay you. Thanks
Luckily we have a $1000AUD import limit before we pay import taxes. I really feel sorry for people who have been ripped off by paying extra. I'd be showing customs my receipt from Kickstarter and making a formal complaint to Kickstarter.
I'd also look at a possible partial chargeback on the credit card as well.
