The Bluesign® system is today's leading solution for sustainable textile production. It takes on a holistic approach throughout the entire supply chain, from the very beginning of the manufacturing process, and sets and controls standards for an environmentally friendly and safe production.
Our Air-Knit fabric is certified as Bluesign® approved, ensuring it has been made to the highest and cleanest standard in the textile industry.
We are aiming to start delivery around the end of May, but just to be safe, we have put June as our planned delivery month. We will keep you guys updated closely on this in the update section. Shipping to the US will take between 7-14 days, tracked, so we'll have the tees delivered to your front door by Mid-June at the latest.
We are able to offer a faster delivery schedule than normal campaigns because we had already made a deposit for producing our fabrics in February. We made this decision based on our original campaign's funding back in December 2018, which we decided to cancel and re-launch at a better date (this month!). It is a risk we took so that we can provide you with a faster delivery, just in time for your summer adventures.
All our tees are in US sizes and tailored as Slim fit. If you are in between sizes, either go down a size if you prefer a more athletic fit or go up a size for a more regular / relaxed fit.
If you are used to wearing Asian sizes, simply go down a size if you are true to your size.

Unfortunately, we can only make a very limited run (around 10-15 pieces / style) on these sizes due to last minute allocation of the fabrics. But think of it as a tailored made order for our awesome backers.

To ensure The Regenerative Tee genuinely stand the test of time, over the past few months, we sent some of our shirts to different 'outsiders' around the world, asking them to put our shirts through a variety of adventures in all types of conditions- from epic ridgeline hikes to sending boulders to doing yoga (in Alaska!). The people shown in our video are just some of these remarkable people doing what they do best- enjoying the outdoors.
First, we got into research mode and tore up a bunch of 'lightweight' shirts. We measured just how 'light' they were with a precision balance machine that measures exactly the weight in gsm (grams per square meters).
Most 'lightweight' fabrics fell between the 120gsm range, with some weighed in at 100gsm, 90gsm and even one with 80 gsm (but this shirt was $60!)
Air-Knit weighed in at only 72gsm and cost $29 in our Super Early Bird tier.
Merrow® seam:
Our Merrow® seams are super soft and durable at the same time, allowing you to wear your backpacks for long period of time without any of those skin chafing nonsense that you would get from poor quality seam construction.
Logo:
We thought long and hard on this one- on the one hand, we understand why it is important to show our logo, on the other, we don't like big branded logos. And sure enough, we wanted to use the best sustainable methods to do all this too, so we got busy. After months of sourcing and testing, we have perfected a printing technique for our neck label that uses no plastic heat transfers (less weight and waste), prints with surgical precision on all colours (even on black), and stays on the garment permanently, without ever looking like those semi-peeled labels you often find with cheap heat transfers.

Reflective print:
For the reflective logo print, we often find reflective prints to be too silver and overly bright all the time, even when they're not lit. So we decided to go with a matte version that provides a more subtle reflective effect.
WRAP is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. All our shirts are made in a WRAP certified factory in Vietnam, ensuring our values are met throughout the production process, from start to finish.
In January, we flew to Vietnam to visit our WRAP certified factory to go through a pre-production quality control for our Regenerative Tees. This included seeing the overall conditions and capacity of the factory, checking the conditions of machineries and equipments, and workers general well-being. We also met with the factories head of technician to go through every single detail in our tees, down to the thread, to ensure they are made to the highest of quality.

We are here to add that extra sustainable and ethical touch of ours, to the highly-functional gear that we make.

Quality matters- Quality in our products and quality in our communication with our backers. We are here for the long run, and we will never risk the trusts of our backers by offering a product that does not meet our high standards for quality.
We go through a rigorous quality control procedure with our partners in Taiwan and Vietnam to ensure these qualities are met with each order, and we are confident that our partners will succeed in fulfilling every order without delay and to our high standards for quality.
However, we do acknowledge that there may be certain unforeseen circumstances that may hinder the production or delivery process. This is highly unlikely, but if it does happen, we will work out a solution right away, and you will be the first to know.
