We are seeking funds to support the post-production of EARTHLINGS, a feature-length film adaptation of a short story by novelist and screenwriter Jonathan Raymond (Night Moves, Wendy And Lucy, Mildred Pierce.)
The story begins with Tom Chen, an affluent Chinese American who decides to celebrate the anniversary of his divorce with a dinner party. When his intended guests cancel, he impulsively invites the two Mexican day laborers, Javier and Diego, who are working in his yard, to join him instead. But as the three men are settling in to the evening, finding connections and differences in their respective American stories, two of Tom’s original guests show up after all, and the resulting clash of cultures and beliefs takes the evening to new heights--and depths--of desire, hedonism, and conflict.
We have completed all principle and secondary photography and cut a rough edit of the film. We are seeking $22,000 in donations for costs associated with our edit and musical score. Join our great team in making EARTHLINGS the movie a reality!
Our deepest thanks to you supporters who helped get this movie as far along as it is. Because of you we were able to assemble a great cast and crew and get the movie shot as scheduled.

Risks and challenges
The immediate challenge before us is scheduling - Completing the final edit of the film in time to enter the festival circuit by fall of 2019.
Making any film is a challenging and complex process but once funding and scheduling is in place I'm confident that this professional post-production team will carry this project through on schedule and on budget.
This will be my second feature length film, I have made over 18 films and directed five music videos and completed every project I have ever started - I have no unfinished works.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
