I grew up watching Sailor Moon as a child and teenager and was always enamoured by the great individual strengths of the characters and the journey of Usagi Tsukino. Growing up I also became attracted to the Tarot, especially the over aching archetypes of the Major Arcana which can repeatedly be found in various religions, cultures and psychological theories. I wanted to link all these things together by creating a special Sailor Moon themed Tarot which I have been working on for the best part of this last year. Each character's personality traits and powers were matched as much as possible to the traits of the cards of A. E. Waite's Major Arcana.
The cards will be printed in Italy on 330gsm triplex Casino quality paper which are easy to shuffle and resistant to wear. If the goal is reached I want to have a gold foil on the card box!
The pack features 22 cards measuring 65x115cm. They will come in a full colour cardboard boxes with package upgrades which will be hand screen printed by myself in my Berlin workshop.
The postcards will be printed in Germany on A6 size 330gsm paper.
Add on options:
Cotton pouch, Luxury storage box & A6 Journal, "Fight like a girl" T-shirt, Scarf, Pocket Mirror
All additional items (as seen in the pictures below), will be hand screen printed in my Berlin studio creating a glitter hologram effect with a pastel split fountain (rainbow/ombre print) using water based inks. T-shirts will be printed on earth positive shirt meaning they are fair trade, organic cotton and made with reduced carbon footprint. The mirror can be added on at any level. Simply add €5 to your pledge and write a message to notify me!

Risks and challenges
Ideally everything is planned to work and be delivered on time. The campaign is scheduled to end in the first week of January and all orders will be placed once everything is processes by Kickstarter, as all artworks will be ready regardless if the campaign is fully funded or not. Printing turn around times vary between 2 to 3 weeks, meaning that hopefully items will be sent out by the last week of February, latest first week of March.
Shipping times to EU countries is around 2 weeks while International shipping is 5-8 weeks. Postage rates include tracking.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
