Just over a year from inception to launch, Scrapped was published August 2012 to rave reviews. We self-funded the first issue, Hit It... pouring into the project not just money, but a lot of love and character as well.
We are bubbling over with excitement about our next issue, Future Dinosaur, which we are currently in the process of curating work for but unfortunately, our pockets are almost empty and we need your help!
By donating to our kickstarter campaign, you are ensuring that emerging artists will have a vehicle to get their work out into the universe, without the snobbiness that the art world is often known for. We don't care if you have an MFA or if your CV is just a few lines long... we only care about the quality of the work you submit. Show us your work!
In addition to funding the production of our next issue, we also want to take our website to the next level by hiring a kickass web designer who can help us realize all the ideas we've envisioned for it. Maybe that's one of you? If so, shoot us an email: email@example.com!
We've compiled some really unique and fun rewards, so please take a look and consider donating. Kickstarter is ALL or NOTHING-- if we don't meet our funding goal, we don't get anything so no donation is too small. If you have a question about any of the rewards, please don't hesitate to ask us about it.
You can also help us out by spreading the word... tell your friends, your family, even strangers!
Thank you from all of us at Scrapped! (Noura, Allen, Frances, Nicole, Osvaldo and Athena!)
SPECIAL THANKS TO
Ulises Hadjis for the lovely music used in our video!
