Have a question?
Thank you so much, Scott! It's been a pleasure having you along for the ride! Now to get to the work of getting this game into everyone's hands!
Cheers, and to everyone who made this happen, a huge THANK YOU!!!!
Michael, Gerald, and Todd
Congrats Michael and team!!! So glad this got funded and with a few SG's too!!!
Do we have a $2,213 reward tier? Is it too late?
It is always great to go out on a good note. Thanks again.
Thanks so much for the support, Scott! It's the least we could do!
Only $2,213 to go in 9 mins. Haha!
Woohoo!!! Thanks Michael!!!
Somehow that stretch goal just dropped by $250, and is now unlocked! It's a Kickstarter miracle!! 😃
$213 in 12 mins. Anybody else want their name on a recipe card? Last chance.
$238 to go with 18 mins. Last chance potential backers. Come out, come out, wherever you are.
Scott- I'll just say that you're not alone in wanting that stretch goal unlocked :-D
Who knows maybe you will surprise us for being sooooooo close if we just miss. ;)
It will will be close. That is for sure.
We gained 4 more backers, but had one adjust to a lower pledge level. Kickstarter giveth and Kickstarter taketh away... but that stretch goal still looks like it's in reach!
You can still upgrade to have your name on a recipe. Any takers?
Oh no we lost $15 and 2 hours. $405 to go in 3.5 hours.
$390 to next SG in 5 hours. We got this.
Alright, now we need $1400 for our boxes to get a sunburn so they ooze UV rays.
Noice!!! Sg 1 down!
Stretch goal #1 UNLOCKED!!!!
Less than $300 to go!!!
What a neat game! my only regret is not knowing about the game sooner. Congrats on getting funded.
Congratulations on being funded. Makes me even more excited since I'm in Cleveland =)
YEAH! Still lots of time to go!
$515 to go for linen SG. We got this.
I hope we can at least get the linen finish unlocked.
So excited to check on this tonight and see you are funded! Hubby and I met Gerald at Wizard World Comic Con and got to learn right from the master. We had so much fun with the game, we couldn't wait to aid the campaign. Now we will impatiently await our copy! Congrats!
Thank you so much, Jennifer! And thank you to EVERYONE who's backed this game - Words can't express how much we appreciate you!
Michael, Gerald, and Todd
Congratulations on being funded! This game looks like so much fun!
I don't know what happened yesterday, but all of a sudden we jumped up liked 15% in the blink of an eye. No matter. I'll take it.
YESSS!!!! Now less than $150 to go! We might see some stretch goals unlocked yet!
Thanks again for your support through the campaign, it means the world to us!
Less than $300 to go!!! Maybe we will be able to knock down a few SG's.
I loved demoing Gerald's dice game at Unplugged, and I'm sure I'm going to have a great time with Flip & Find's Diner. Gotta support the dream!
Great! I hope it helps attract new backers. Make sure you post it at top of the campaign page too. So potential backers will see it right away. I really hope this funds and would love to hit lots of SG's too.
Thanks for the suggestions! We've been using the Solo Play video to spread the word through the various solo board gamer groups online.
As far as a KSE/promo... After pondering your suggestion and re-running some numbers, we've managed to find space in the the budget for an exclusive that we can include without making it a stretch goal - watch for an update soon!
@Michael - I was thinking it might be better to have some KSE/promo stuff already included in the pledge to entice backers. Backers like exclusive stuff, but when they are all SG's then they don't know about them or if we will even get them. Backers like to feel special for backing. So having some KSE/promos from the start is like an incentive to back and could bring in more backers. Might be too late now, but could help in the future.
You should try to highlight solo play at the top of the campaign page to see if it will bring in more backers.
We've got a few promo/KSEs up our sleeves, currently in the locked stretch goals... you can expect us to start revealing those soon, especially since we're getting close to funding!
@Creator - have you thought about adding some promo/KSE cards to attract more backers?
Thanks James! Thrilled to have you on board, and I hope to get my hands on some more Sapphire City deliciousness before long!
I believe I saw this playtested many months ago at Tabletop in Cleveland and it looked like a blast. Couple that with the copy of Pests! I already have, and it's an autoback. Looking forward to it, good luck!
@Gerald - glad to hear you are doing better now. That would be fun to meet up and game one day on your west coast tour. I'll make sure and get you the best Mexican food in town (our specialty in SoCal).
We had planned on doing the tour last week to maintain momentum but I had to be hospitalized for a few days and needed surgery only 3 days into the campaign so it put us back a few days. Now that I'm on the mend though I am ready to get out there and tell people about this game!
We plan on doing this tour thing more often if it goes well so hopefully one of these days we will make it out west and can hang out.
@Gerald - sounds like a good plan you got. I wish I could meet up with you all, but I am in CA.
Hey Scott! Thanks for supporting us. We haven't really thought about social goals but that is something to consider.
As to working with other Kickstarter Campaigns, Flip & Finds Diner is going on a short tour next week along with Palm Island and Oh Cluck!
We will be traveling through St.Louis to chat with Jamey Stegmaier, then to Chicago to chat with Julie Ahern from Greenbrier Games. Then we will be off to Merlins Beard in Indiana to hang out with Allen Mcfarland from DNA Games. We will finish out the tour in Northeast OH, first at Critical Hits Games on the 22nd with Frank Tedeschi of Deadbox Games and then on Saturday with the BOGA community in Cuyahoga Falls with Ben Kanelos the designer of Red Scare from Pandasaurus games. https://www.facebook.com/events/538251746574145/
Then as the campaign winds down we will be hanging out with all kinds of people at PAX East in Boston for the first 4 day long PAXEast! We are really excited for that and we will be livestreaming with tons of different game designers and content creators throughout the weekend.
Where are you at Scott? Maybe you can join us on the road for a quick game!
@Creator - Have you thought of doing Social SG's to help spread the word? Or cross promotions with other KS campaigns?
Thanks Scott! We're excited to get this (and Pests!) in your hands!
I hope this gets funded. I am looking forward to both this game and Pests.
