Sculpto+ has a flexible Buildtak buildplate, it has s-curve acceleration, it prints almost silently, it has new electronics with improved probes and motor-controllers to improve and smooth'en the printing experience.
The printer is not hardware-limited to using Sculpto filament - but we highly recommend it - as it will result in the best 3D printing experience and the longest possible lifetime of the machine.
In our 'fine' printing setting we are working with a layer height of 0.15mm and a precision of 60 microns.
We believe this delivers beautiful prints while still keeping the printing time at an acceptable level.
Would you want to operate with a smaller layer height you would have to go into expert mode and upload your own g-code.
The Sculpto+ supports .stl files. This is the most common file-type that almost all 3D models are available in and almost every 3D modelling program can generate .stl files.
Yes there is. We do not recommend beginners to activate it and generally expert modes requires a lot of knowledge about 3D printing.
