THE (SIMPLE) STORY
A curse lies over the Fairies Land, bringing them to misery. Their only hope is their saviour Victoria Moon. With Ms Holloways help, can she break the Old Artists cruel curse?
Our story began with tale of a beautiful waterfall. Where Fairies lived in their glorious glows upon the mossy levels, singing and dancing. But the Evil Sheep Skull that lay at the top of the fall poisoned the land and cursed the Fairies below.
The tale of Holloway's Garden, inspired by her mothers story, Sarah-Beth developed the plot whilst she came up to the final year of her filmmaking degree. The production began to take place with Lauren when they began their third year of filmmaking degree at Manchester School of Art.
Sarah-Beth, Lauren and Joe created a short research film, that tested ideas and methods through a story inspired by three fairy poems.
Originally Holloway's Garden would have been one film. However due to University briefings for our graduation film, our production will now be seen in two 10 minute short films: The Cursed Land and The Witches Story.

Risks and challenges
This is our final project for our university degree, we wanted to challenge ourselves in making a film to be proud of, where we experiment with our techniques, and learn new filmmaking challenges such as green screen and underwater filming!
Our team is dedicated to the project, and with some of our filming underway, so far we have had a great production, and your help can only take us further to see our dream turn to reality!
We want to make our film successful, and with your donations we will be sending our project to film festivals around the world.
