New member of the Rebuild team!
Version 0.666 (actually 0.66, but I couldn't resist...) is now available at humble.com and on Steam. If you've lost your access, visit this page to resend it. It features new backstories, events, perks, the start of relationships and new main leader jobs which I've explained here. There's a full changelog on the forums.
Here it is: my husband Colin's joining me as a second programmer and designer! He is the other half of Northway Games, but usually works on his own projects. Somehow I coerced/blackmailed/bribed him to work on Rebuild, and it's already paying off: it looks like he's found the graphics memory leak that's been plaguing many beta players. Try the new update and let me know!
Deep Under the Sky
Okay... it wasn't really blackmail. In exchange I helped Colin and Rich Edwards port and ship their latest game Deep Under the Sky, a crazily beautiful one-button game where you play space jellyfish exploring an alien landscape. It's got this gorgeous trippy art style that... well I'll just show you:
Wait for the grappling hook! That's my favorite part. Deep Under the Sky is available on Steam, iOS and Android now. Hold on, I'm just going to watch that video again. Ooooooh... It looks like some of the coral reefs we've seen in our travels.
We've been bumming around the pacific northwest for the summer, exploring Vancouver and Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Interior of BC. Not super exotic, but it's hard to beat BC in those sunny summer days that last forever.
The PAX Prime booth
Seattle was beautiful too; we were there a few weeks ago for PAX Prime. We've been going to PAX for the last 8 years, but this was our first time running a Northway Games booth. We were proud to be part of the Indie Megabooth.
It was a revelation showing Rebuild to the crowd of 80,000 Paxgoers. I hardly expected anyone to recognize the game, but a crazy number of people knew it, and knew me too. It was so touching to have people come up and thank me for my work, tell me how many hours they'd played Rebuild 1 on Kongregate or Rebuild 2 on their phones. And it was exciting that so many fans hadn't heard of this new game Gangs of Deadsville yet. It convinced me to put the "3" back in the title and to be proud of my legacy. My trilogy perhaps!

Thanks so much everybody!
