About this project
The Life and Death of a Superhero
In a world of heroes and villains, where super-men and women are real, what happens when the world’s greatest superhero dies?
How did the man known as Mister Invincible become… vincible?
This project is a proposed web series done in the style of a retrospective documentary that will consist of 10 episodes.
Throughout the series, the story of our hero, Mister Invincible, is portrayed through interviews with the other characters that inhabit this world. We’ll get to meet his allies and his enemies, and the people he affected.
Our goal with this project is to make superheroes seem as real as possible, as though they really exist in our world and they've had real lasting impact. We want to make it feel like you’re watching a Ken Burns series about real, historical figures.
But we need your help.
Project Vincible: THE WEB SERIES
Created by Writer/Director Peter DiCicco, Vincible is an innovative new take on the superhero genre. With a nod to great comic book and superhero traditions (Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Captain America), Vincible introduces an eclectic cast of heroes and villains as they grapple with the implications of Mr. Invincible’s sudden death.
The 10-part web series employs a creative documentary format, slowly revealing the story of Mr. Invicible through the eyes of those who fought with and against him, while framing these superheroes and villains as though they exist in our own world and have had a historical lasting impact in the context of our lives.
What's a superhero series without the merchandise?
We know that our supporters are in it for love of the project, but we also want to you know just how much you mean to us. That’s why we’ve put together an awesome collection of rewards that let us show our appreciation – and let you show off your part in making Vincible a reality! Check out some of the offerings below:

We have the brilliant script. We have the awesome team. You are the final, vital piece we need to bring Vincible off the page and onto your screens.
We want to do Vincible justice by holding it to the highest standards. That kind of quality doesn’t come cheap. To make Vincible the truly impressive, professional production it can and should be, we need to invest in quality equipment, production design, locations, transportation, costumes, and post production services – all the individual pieces that together make or break the impact of the final product
Those investments add up quickly– editing alone will cost up to $4,000 for a quality job – but donations add up quickly too, and with your help we can make Vincible a production that you’ll be thrilled to watch and proud to support.
Rest assured that our team is fully committed to the project. The extensive pre-production work and project launch have only been possible because our production team has pitched in $1,000 of out-of-pocket expenses, not to mention all the donated time and effort of cast and crew. And because we are both committed to our backed and personally invested in the project ourselves, we are scrupulous in attending to our budget to ensure that we use our resources as efficiently as possible without sacrificing the quality that we – and our supporters - demand for Vincible

Risks and challenges
No one ever said creating a web series would be easy, and we know that there will be inevitable bumps in the road. We might spend days coordinating the busy schedules of our working cast and crew, only to find that some key piece of equipment has malfunctioned at the last minute, or that our perfect location has been rained out (unlikely in sunny SoCal, but these things happen). Unforeseeable kinks are just part and parcel of a project like this, unfortunately.
Luckily we’ve put together an incredible, dedicated team with the focus and professionalism ready to tackle these challenges. We may not be able to control the weather or foresee the unforeseeable, but we bring absolute professionalism to everything we can control: that means we will do everything in our power to keep Project Vincible moving forward according to schedule, and we’ll always keep our supporters up to date on the latest news and developments.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
