Thank You!

We did it! A huge thanks to our 78 Kickstarter backers, and the 214 individuals who shared our project through Facebook. Thanks to your support:

- We welcomed 311 visitors to Dance Films Kino at Hyde Park Art Center, from as close as Chicago's Hyde Park, Englewood and South Shore neighborhoods, and as far away as New York City and Minneapolis.

- We presented 30 free admission events in 20 days, presenting the work of 45 filmmakers, from emerging to established, and 25 live artists, presenters and partner organizations.

- Most rewardingly, we experienced lots of engagement (informal discussion and questions) around the films and the design of the space.

If you'd like more information on the films and programs presented during Dance Films Kino, visit our website. Sign up for my mailing list for infrequent updates on screenings and art openings. And thank you again for making Dance Films Kino happen! We are incredibly grateful for your support!

Time to Rally the Troops

We are so grateful that 54 Backers have worked together to raise $1700 to date, to support our festival, which is 100% supported by in-kind and individual donations. These donations cover the fees we pay to show films in the space, and costs of building out the kino space.

Unfortunately we get $0 if we don't meet our full funding goal. So we're working hard to raise $800 in 3 days, with a funding deadline of 4pm CT on Sunday, March 25.

To help us get the rest of the way there, we've added a number of limited edition, get them while they last, Backer Rewards, from kino objects, to original art, a press release consultation (perfect for local arts or activist groups), treats from Early to Bed, a 1-year subscription to POETRY magazine, a private Pilates session in your home, and more! Limited Edition Backer Rewards start at just $10!

Please consider sharing Dance Films Kino's Kickstarter link with others to help us meet our goal! http://kck.st/wzRvl8

Thank you again for your support!
