My name is Sarah and I front and manage a band called Sarah & the Tall Boys. We recently had the fortunate opportunity to record a live performance as part of a concert series called "Strobe Sessions". The show was such a great success that we decided to take 13 of the tracks and make them into a live album. As we stand now, we are ready to mix, master and duplicate. That's where you come in!
The cost of mixing, mastering and duplication is around $1800. Since me and the boys tour relentlessly, it provides us a modest income, and with the availability that our schedule gives, a day job is not an option. We work really hard at what we do and really want to get the album "Live in Chicago" into the hands of our fans.
We need your help. We need $1800 to finish our project and get it out to our fans. You can choose to give a little, you can choose to give a lot. We just need you to give what you can. It'll make you our hero, put some good karma in your bank and earn you some great donation rewards too!
Here's some live clips so you know what your supporting!
The Answer (from another "Strobe Session" that we did):
Who But a Fool (also from the other "Strobe Session" that we did):
Ok, we will talk, like we said in the video, we tour ALL the time, so we could more than likely fit it into our touring schedule. If you are really interested you can email us with a question @ mailto:Sarah@sarahandthetallboys.com
When on the road, to save money, we make and eat tons of PB&Js, along with various other sandwiches, it saves on money and disgust of fast food.
Yes, depending on gas prices, we spend about $80-$120 on fill-ups. At the end of 2 weeks of touring we spend close to $700 on gas.
We sure did! But the first recording was lost in an electrical storm, so they were kind enough to let us do another, so you see, this really was meant to be!
