Have a question?
Received in Brisbane 12/10, thanks.
I'm still wondering what the original Iron Edda content for Bonebonded backers will be, and is there a timeline for this yet?
Got my book today (in Sweden) :)
No problems, the PDFs have been amazing already, I just love getting my hands on the physical artefacts as well. Can't wait to see how Sagas shapes up :)
@Richard - My day job has swamped me these last few weeks. As a result, International shipments should be going out Thursday. I'm sorry for the delay.
Any word on when they international shipments are likely to start arriving? UK backer here.
@Darren -To answer both questions at once: If you are international and backed for a signed copy, correct, no need to pay shipping.
All international shipments will begin to ship next week.
Any Australian backers received rewards yet?
Package arrived. The book looks great! Congratulations on the effort
@Richard Yes! Look for an update within the next few days. =)
Any word on the progress of shipping the physical books?
@Alission (and anyone else curious about World of Metal and Bone). Paul and John are working through the edits right now. It's looking like the game will be out in early Fall, 2014 if all goes well with art and layout!
Any news from Iron Edda to Dungeon World ?
Played IE:WoMB at #orccon2014 with Mike Olsen and Morgan Ellis, great setting and loved the world/character creation process. Looking forwards to the Dungeon World adaption too! Well done Tracy :)
I think Bloodlines should be unlocked, $480 short but will be made up with add on orders I'm sure
I want to add a physical copy of Bloodlines but I'm not sure we'll hit the stretch, anyone else?
We're kind of close to BLOODLINES. If every backer above Thrall pledged an extra $7, we'd unlock it. And hey, if you're thinking of adding to your pledge, why not make it $15 and get SVEIDSDOTTIR as well?
@Craig Awesome! I'm glad to hear it. If you have any other questions that come up during play, please write them down. I'll be setting up official feedback collection once the KS funding period ends.
Thanks for the quick response :) Yep, it directly states about the authority extra but I know my players and at least one will ask so I wanted the official answer. I watched the playtest video earlier today and it answered a few of my general setting queries, really looking forward to the full book release now : D
@Craig Here's what I'd say to a player in my game that asked that: you tell me.
I'm all about player agency. If a player could tell me yes and why yes, then I'd let them spend the refresh and do it. I'd probably not let them use the Rune while in the Bones, but that'd be my only concern.
Same goes with See Magic as well. Generally, these three things are thought to be exclusive in society, but they could be transgressing.
The only exception is Authority, and I think it states that. If a player has the Authority Extra, they can't have any of the other three. That allows them to lead.
I'm hoping to run a game using the playtest document this weekend and was wondering if I could get an official answer on something within the setting. Is it possible for someone to have more than one ability, for example could a bone bonded also have a rune?
@Mark Yes, you need the Fate Core and Fate Accelerated rules to be able to play. You can pay what you want for them at DriveThurRPG: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/114903/Fate-Core-System…
As for the dice, you can buy them from Evil Hat: http://www.evilhat.com/home/fate-dice/
You can also make your own from regular pipped d6s: http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Fudge_dice
And I'm going to put this info in the FAQ. Thanks for asking and for your interest!
Hi, I'm very excited about the idea behind the game and the chance to play when I get the rules.
Do I need a separate Fate Core book to be able to play?
Where do I find the dice for the game?
For the PDF deliveries, are these going out via coupons on drivethrough and rpgnow? Frankly I've been feeling a little burned by KS rewards not going out via those channels. Trying to manage PDF updates through multiple dropbox and backerit pages has been time consuming.
@Rabbit: Uploaded it just now!
I talked about it a little on my blog: http://deck-of-many-things.blogspot.com/2014/01/slacker.html
And I'll be posting there more about writing, in the long term.
Also, are the full gamut of stretch goals going to be put on the main page?
For anyone else, there are threads at RPG.net and Something Awful that are also good. Feel free to chime in.

If you've talked about Iron Edda anywhere else, feel free to link to it here! And, please do go and talk about it. That would be awesome.
I posted over in the Pinnacle Forums to get some interest for Savage Worlds folks!
So close to funding!
@Robert: Thanks so much your doing that! I'll submit to the tumblr you suggested as soon as I have a chamber to do so.
Added this to the RPG Geek Kickstarter announcement thread:
And on EN World:
The author can also easily post a Tumblr announcement here:
My pledge is in and I cannot wait to see the finished product. It was a joy and honor to design the War of Metal & Bone logos and the Kickstarter graphics. Tracy puts his heart and soul into everything he creates and it shows. I know in my heart this project will fund and as someone how knows what is coming in regards to stretch goals, I cannot wait for you all to see what is behind the doors.
"Jerry". And thanks for the answer! The vanity tiers are a tiny little bit outside of my reach, but I will definitely buy the book in June, then! (And possibly look forward for the digital add-on.)
@Jeremy If you back at one of the vanity tiers (1k or 5k) you get print copies of all Sand & Steam books, which includes Sveidsdottir.
Other than that, the novel is slated to be out in June and will be available for purchase then! I might consider adding it to the FREEHOLDER tier as a digital add-on at some point.
Looks great! I admit that the concept of explicit inclusivity (as per the Sveidsdottir KS) appeals to me, so here I am. Take my moneys!
Tangentially, since I missed that KS - is there any way to get the Sveidsdottir book now, or will that be for later?
Seems a bit quiet on here.
Saw the mention by Mr Joel from Catthulhu KS. Looks interesting and already have Fate Core from KS, Backed!
173 backers and over half way there! I think we need some stretch goals :)
I admit that I'm a bit of a Fate addict... but this does look cool!
I've been excited about this ever since Tracy ran a playtest at Kantcon last year. The highest praise I can give this setting is it is a "license-worthy" concept. I could honestly see this setting as the basis for a summer blockbuster. IT'S THAT COOL!
Been waiting for this one. Hopefully it is all the success we want it to be.
Yes! I have been hoping for this :D Good luck, Tracy!
