57 914 $

Over an hour of uniquely realized music from what is amongst the most iconic soundtracks in all of gaming, Zelda Cinematica seeks to present to you the musical score from that epic Hollywood Zelda movie that lifelong fans have conjured in our heads while sitting in the back of the classroom drawing tiny worlds with Link fighting monsters! (Unless that was just me...) An album with a primarily energetic symphony sound but ranging across ambient soundscapes and electronic atmospheres as well.
- Years of planning, feature-length representing themes from the entire series, officially licensed, and available on all major digital platforms as well as collectible disc albums!

Four years ago, a journey into the unknown was embarked upon with Metroid Cinematica:
The goal was to produce what could be considered the soundtrack to an imaginary film based on the Metroid series. Next was Chrono Cinematica, based on the unforgettable music of Chrono Trigger. This time, due to the great response from fans seeking physical versions of the album, a Kickstarter was established to take things to the next level and produce and ship CDs and art posters in addition to a digital release.
Now, the time has come to revisit the epic world of The Legend Of Zelda!
This is not my first trek through the realm of Hyrule, having previously produced my own take on the music such as this one featuring the darker themes from the series:
In the years since this piece, production capabilities have increased substantially, and Zelda Cinematica will sound even better, and feature themes from across the entirety of the franchise!

As an individual, self-taught artist working on his own with essentially no budget, any large scale project such as this is a very demanding and daunting endeavor. This album, and those that have come before it, is a 100% passion project. The work time involved, as well as the cost of producing physical collectibles, is not achievable without a little help.
Chrono Cinematica was a success thanks to great fan support, and in addition to having disc albums produced for Zelda Cinematica- the main goal of this Kickstarter, if there is sufficient interest then discs from previous albums will be re-printed too and available for backers!

The return of collectible CD albums of Chrono Cinematica featuring high quality digipaks with a full 80-minutes of runtime music inspired by my favorite RPG, Chrono Trigger, and a new tier!
Note: Both Rito and Sheikah tiers will get one of these, too!

The one that started it all, the first of the "Cinematica" line of albums featuring two discs with over an hour and a half of music inspired by the Metroid series! Also new tiers available to accommodate those seeking both individual disc sets as well as the full monty of four total discs worth of music in one package!
Note: Both Rito and Sheikah tiers will get one of these, too!

With vinyl records making a comeback, I thought it would be neat to have them back during the Chrono Cinematica project, but decided to keep things simple and focus on discs instead. This time around, there was sufficient fan response during the planning stages to give it a shot!
Note: Both Rito and Sheikah tiers will get one of these, too!

Having composed music for well over 20 years now, some of my original inspiration emanated from the soundtracks of those early Zelda games as a kid, particularly A Link To The Past. I've come close to producing a symphonic tribute of my own many times stretching as long ago as the early 2000's and in recent years, quite a few big albums have come out both from other fans as well as official releases.
I am hopeful that the world won't mind a few more musical interpretations of the masterful melodies of Koji Kondo and other composers of the series. It's a bummer having had to wait so long to produce this album, but on the flip side, I am now able to do so through official channels and achieve a higher quality production- so it is truly a lifelong thrill to be a able to present my own personal vision of the soundtracks that helped fuel my childhood creativity and drive me towards becoming a composer myself.
This album, continuing along with the rest of the Cinematica lineup before it, will feature fully legally licensed music with royalties sent to the original creators and available widely on major digital music platforms. The Legend of Zelda properties are copyright Nintendo Co., Ltd.
Special thanks to all the fan encouragement I've received for this album and prior work, and to my good friend Darren Kerwin for promotional assistance!

Risques et défis
Getting a large project put together with many different assets, both digital and physical, is a serious undertaking. Luckily, the previous album was a major success and also a major learning experience. Armed with first-hand knowledge this time around, and having seen what sort of hiccups can occur both in production and shipping stages, the element of the unknown has given way to complete focus on simply making the highest quality art possible.
