Inappropriate (but totally awesome) letterpress printed greeting cards that don't suck as much as most other cards.
There are many problems we face in this world: climate change, global hunger, people being massive dicks online… the list goes on. The prevalence of ugly greeting cards is not high up on that list, and consequently, no one has developed a robust solution to the loathsome issue of greeting cards that are so ugly that they make babies cry.
The time is now to address this problem and you can be a part of the solution.
Greetings from Nowhere is a series of high-quality letterpress printed cards made locally in Phoenix, Arizona. The designs were created to entertain and to ensure that they don't suck as much as most other cards.
First batch of cards will arrive by the first week of December (these are now sold out). Second batch will arrive during third week of December but probably a little earlier(see "Risks and challenges" section for more details on this).
There are a total of six cards in the series.
Please Note: Colors on the final letterpress printed cards may vary slightly.
- There are a total of six greeting cards in the series, and each card comes with a bright-colored envelope.
- Cards are 4.25” x 5.5” when folded and fit in an A2 envelope.
- Cards are letterpress printed on the Johannot Blanc paper which is made in France. It has a subtle texture and looks freaking amazing.
- Cards are blank inside.
- Each full set of cards comes enclosed in a muslin drawstring bag.
- Cards will be delivered (in the US) the first week of December provided you fill out the Kickstarter rewards questionnaire by November 21. Survey will be emailed to you on November 19, as soon as the funding deadline is reached.
Rewards #2 and over will receive "badass" temporary tattoos.
Rewards #5 and over will also receive a "badass" notebook.
Notebooks are 3.5" x 5.5", contain 32 interior pages and will be printed via Scoutbooks. Tattoos are 2" x 1.5".

I am going to great lengths to make sure that every aspect of this project stays on schedule. First batch of cards (now sold out) will be delivered during the first week of December and the second batch will be delivered by the third week of December.
A lot depends on how soon project backers are able to fill out the questionnaire with their mailing addresses. That is why it is important for all backers to submit the questionnaire by end of day Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
Anyone not able to fill out the questionnaire by November 21 will most probably NOT receive their stuff on time.
If you are inside the US, the first batch of cards (that are now sold out) should be in your mailbox by the first week of December. Second batch of cards will arrive during third week of December. If you are outside the US, I would add 10 more days to that timeline.
