What is Genesis?
Genesis isn’t like any card game you’ve ever seen. With Augmented Reality users experience an addictive skill based real-time battle system. Each character is equipped with a myriad of attacks some reliant on brute force and others on mystic or dark capabilities allowing for a perfect combination of skill, strategy and foresight. If crushing friends in the arena isn’t your preferred option, the game also compensates for the competitive lone-wolf with an elite single player dungeon mode that will test and hone the skills of any avid gamer.
Long Roos and Ryan Neale - We are two 18 years olds who graduated from highschool around 8 months ago. We are the creators behind Genesis Augmented Reality. Genesis will be the first game ever to be released using this unique concept and technology. We, as the creators firmly believe that Augmented Reality is going to become the future of gaming.
Is this a classic TCG?
No, this isn't a typical Trading Card Game. All of the battling is real time, and most importantly, when you purchase characters from this campaign, you will be activating them through our account system via a printed out piece of paper (for now).
Not only does this make the product easier for us to produce, it also makes it significantly cheaper and more accessible for you. This means you'll get access to the magic of the product exponentially quicker than most other Kickstarter campaigns. And the best part is, you still get the same Augmented Reality experience, just without the price tag.
All characters endured a rigorous creative marathon before they were finally put into the application. Each hero has a vastly different playing style, which will cater for unique tactics of every gamer.

Not only do our pledge points compensate for those who want to gamble for characters, but also those for who want to pick their heroes. We tried to capture the unpredictable elements of opening classic TCG foil wrappers, whilst still catering for people who want a specific character.
Our Kickstarter exclusive dungeon mode is an enhanced single player experience, building on the current stock dungeon mode (Trust me you're going to want to try it).

Is Genesis Pay to Win?
We've had a few people ask us if purchasing characters makes our game pay to win. Unfortunately for those who love to throw money at their screen, having every character only gives you access to every playstyle - it doesn't make you a better player. We're also offering players the ability to acquire characters via earning in-game currency from winning ranked battle. This is contrary to most models which have a seperate paid currency and an in-game currency. We wanted to combine them into a single cohesive system that gives everyone an equal chance. In Genesis the only way you'll become a better player is by...well...Playing :)

Risks and challenges
We are confident for our product delivery date - We purposely left out novelties such as t-shirts, phone cases, etc so we could focus our undivided attention on producing the product itself at a premium standard.
Our only other challenge will be supply chains, relying on that we hit the TCG stretch goal.
