It all started over a meal at a local diner. I was sitting there thinking about what was the "average American". After considering this for a while I began to wonder how they compared to the average person who lived in a tiny house?
So I started a survey to find out, it really took off, and in under 48 hours we had almost 2,300 tiny house people respond! I was floored by how many people wanted to participate and felt that I needed to do something special with all the information we collected.
So we are here on kick starter to fund the creation of an infographic to tell the story of tiny houses and the people that live in them. Infographics are a visual way to share data about an interesting topic. Instead of boring graphs and spreadsheets, we are working with a graphic designer to tell the story with color and vivid graphics. You can find many examples of infographics on the web to get an idea of what we hope to put together.
So we invite you to join us in telling the tale of tiny house people, but we also have some neat rewards for your help in our project!
We really appreciate your support so here is our thank you for the different levels of support.
We want to thank Kevin for making the video for this kickstarter, his business is called Scissor and Drumstick, check them out!
Risks and challenges
This project is pretty straight forward, we already have all the data from the survey and it is just a matter of getting the graphic made. Our designer has done several projects with us already and is a fan of tiny houses, we have already got a quote from him and are in need of the funds for the project.
We expect the graphic to take about a week to create, our delivery deadline is in March so this gives us a big cushion.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
