About this project
Check out the video above!
Michael and Kristen need a change, their lives are miserable. They break away to a remote lake side cabin, a place were comfort and perspective seem attainable. The distance between the two has left a void since their failed athletic careers, but they begin to discover a new connection growing in its place, with a new path on the horizon. As days pass, a haunting presence is felt. Soon, a figure from Kristen's past invades their seclusion in a desperate attempt to bring her back to the life she left behind. The meeting twists into a nightmarish event, leaving Michael and Kristen with a decision to retreat back to the life they once knew or forge deeper together into the unknown.
Estimated Run Time: 20min
The goal of this film is to present a highly cinematic experience within the short format. Through unique character development and a growing circumstantial intensity, the acute visual style will bring to life a complex journey for our two protagonists.
The lake house location is key to the story and the overall visual aesthetic, after a lot of searching I think we found the perfect place. Check out the link for some photos: http://oceansedgehouse.com/
The sound design and musical score will play an integral part in a presenting an experience that completely immerses the viewer, one of dense atmosphere and mystery.
Our Cast and Crew are award winning, exceptionally talented individuals. Past collaborations have been screened at Sundance, SXSW, Sao Paolo Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and many more; as well as millions of online views. I believe we are fully capable of pulling off a production of this magnitude and telling this story with a unique voice.

Risks and challenges
There will be many challenges associated with completing this film, both logistical and psychological, but I believe that patience and dedication are the two most valuable tools available. Its been a very long road to get the project where it stands now, but with the help of some extremely talented people we have the collective experience to provide solutions to the toughest problems.
Most of all, because this is what we love to do, there is a strength to endure the hard times and truly cherish the good, the process will be unforgettable. I can't wait to share this journey we're about to embark on, it feels wholly unique.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
