Swaggerific Option Fixed - Now ON SALE - Only $55
For the last year I have had the pleasure of publishing Old School Gamer Magazine and in that time we have brought in a ton of readers and subscribers because of our great writers who produce great content that "take you back." Now it is time that we are asking the retro gaming community to step forward and really embrace what we are doing and help us take Old School Gamer through the roof!
While we will always have free digital subscriptions, free doesn't mean it doesn't cost money to put together, and printing the magazine costs us even more. We are looking to kickstart Old School Gamer's 2nd year by partially funding our operations for the next 6 issues through the unique system that is Kickstarter.
The best way is to check it out - Available digitally for free - here's a couple issues to check out! Or see them all by clicking here!
More About The Magazine
We have the best in writers, some of which you won't see anywhere else than Old School Gamer. We have regulars like Game Historians Leonard Herman & Ken Horowitz, Published Book Authors Brett Weiss, Michael Thomasson & Patrick Hickey Jr., and others like Todd Friedman, BIll Lange, Adam Pratt, Brad Feingold. Plus we have industry members like Walter Day, Dan Loosen, Adam Pratt, Warren "Q*Bert" Davis, and others writing in the magazine nearly every issue. And that doesn't even touch all of the people that write fantastic material for us on magazine topic assignment or on the OldSchoolGamer.Com website! We cover retro gaming cons, new retro products, favorite stores and arcades you will want to visit and more both online and in print!
Our writers will make you feel like you are back in the day of quarter arcades and cartridge games that you need to blow on to clean and play.
We cover the history and "future" of Old School Gaming, with everything from the 70s, 80s and 90s in home and arcade gaming, and we want to expand what we are doing, and will with your help.
We are looking for $30,000 which will cover the costs of printing 6 issues, and mailing them to subscribers.
If we can hit $50,000 in funding we will expand the magazine from 48 pages to at least 60 pages of content in every issue, and pour even more into our blog content, presences at major video game cons and more!
