Have a question?
In the time I have been with Kickstarter and Indiegogo, delays of this sort seem normal. In fact if anything is on time I would be suspicious, as in what corners were cut.
So no fight from me when there are delays.
It's just a little rain, and not a flood. I really do appreciate the update.
@Shane Jensen: i will try to offer signatures if I can. Its hard bc i dont know if I will be distributing it myself or have a company ship it. However, I will try everything I can.
@Larry Gilman: i have tried everything in my power to print in the usa. Even with all the costs, its 60% less expensive to print overseas.
maybe this is a dumb question, but can't you avoid all the printing hassles by printing in the USA?? it may be a bit more expensive, but the extra you have to pay I would think be off set by the lack of travel problems.
Hey man. I am so excited. I love getting updates on the book and how things are going. And reading the posts below makes me have to ask... signed book or bookplate that sounds like a sweet thing... not really a question but I'm sure you know I would love either hahah keep up the amazing work and I look forward to this sweet set of literature
@Keba Jackson: you should! Aaron is working on the new zim too, which is incredible to me.
Congrats to you for doing this book and thanks to everyone that helped get this book to be able to be published. The only thing that made this truly make my day was Nickelodeon releasing a trailer for new INVADER ZIM movie!!!!! Funny I commented that i would like to see more Zim and Gir...then boom it happens. Might have to buy some lottery tickets later. :)
@Cody Priddy: cant wait for you to have it!
Can't wait for my GLOWY EYES! Congrats!
Congratulations! This campaign was awesome, thanks for all the knowledge you shared. Can't wait to get my copy :)
@Russell Nohelty; I'm going to miss the rest of the campaign (live stream, grand finale and see #600 backer) but want to "early" congratulate you on a great, successful campaign and look forward to some scary shit! (and monsters...)
I've been checking and re checking the timer on this campaign like it's going to make it appear in my hands faster... stoked!!!
We love monsters, too.
@Anaxphone: It's amazing and unbelieveable how generous you all have been. We might actually get to 600 backers, which is amazing!
Yahoo! Stretched it for Massive Monster Digital Prints.
SG reached! Nice... Down to hours now...
$70.... okay, I'm hoping to wake up to digi-bonus!
@Russonc: $220 now!
355 from the next SG! ... Let's see it!
@Eric Erdek: thanks so much. Great meeting you too! Thanks for letting me talk your ear off!
Great meeting you at the Con today! Thanks for all the advice, it made a big impression. I came by later but you were away from your table. Congratulations on hitting the big 500 backers, good luck tomorrow and with the rest of your KS.
@Keba Jackson: that's awesome. Not about the hospital, about gencon. The best way to get me to gencon is to contact the organizers about me being invited as a guest bc I would looove to come! :)
Sorry for double post my pic is me at Gen-Con last year with the cute cuddly bear. It's great fun if you've never went before.
Sorry haven't been able to respond been in and out of hospital. For some odd reason getting on-line is impossible. I understand if you won't have to time to sign the book. Having the glowing eyes though will be great going to freak out my night nurses when they see it. I always like to bring strange books in with me to pass the time. Either way thank you for doing this kickstarter and look forward to when you have another. Oh meant to ask do you think you might make an appearance at Gen-Con in Indianapolis this year?
@Keba Jackson: i will try to make it happen.
I still would like to get the book signed that would make a great stretch goal. A girl can dream ya now..☺
@Schreuka: bookplates are possible. We already have cool endsheets! :)
Huzzah for glowy-eyes!
If you're looking for possible stretch goals, the aforementioned "signed bookplate" would be delightful. Or perhaps fancy or thematically appropriate hardcover endsheets?
@Russonc: i hope so!!!!
Inching up to the Glow-in-the-Dark eyes!! Today!?!?
@Russonc: yay!!! Thank you :)
Cool, thanks for the info... I'm upping to the $100 level...
@Russonc: thats a great idea. I havent worked out all the details about signing books, but I will definitely take that under advisement.
As for the books, yes Katrina Hates dead Shit and Katrina Hates the Dead are the same book, but Katrina hates dead shit is an exclusive cover with the original name and a couple exclusive pages.
Also welcome aboard! :)
Okay, hopping on board after lurking about a bit. Starting at the $40 level but have a question and a thought...
Question - Is Katrina Loves Dead Shit the same as Katrina Loves the Dead (other than the title)?
A thought - If you can't sign the books (due to them being sent from the distributor or whatever), could you consider signing a book plate as an add-on (I've seen that done in other campaigns)
@Brian Lee: oh man. It's so close! We had a big surge today. We are even closer to those 4 free prints!
Just the tiniest amount more than $1K to go until...GLOWY EYES!!!
I agree. If only we owned the rights :)
An Invader Zim story would be awsome. =) just saying ;)
Honestly, it's going to depends on a lot of factors, not the least of which how we choose to distribute the books. I can't say right now what the situation will be for getting books signed. I wish I could. I also love Invader Zim AND Aaron's book Serenity Rose.
Thanks for making getting this wonderful book signed an add-on. How much do you think it will be or you could make a stretch goal instead *wink wink*. Either way so looking forward to recieving this book. It's going to be a birthday present to myself cause i loved the stories and i REALLY love invader zim. How i miss that show.
I have a list of people who inquire about signed copies. It will be an add on during the final survey process.
Any way to get a signed copy?
