About this project
Absolute Champion is an MMA - MMORPG and is one of the first games of its kind, is a turn-based fighting game which focuses on strategic and tactical aspects of game play. The game play is not dictated by those who may be able to press buttons the fastest or be able to remember long strings of button combos. Being a turn-based game also ensures that no one will be at the mercy of "lag". We have made it possible for everyone to have an opportunity to win based on cunning and strategy, not muscle-memory. With your fighter, you will climb bracket ladders, gain titles, and even possibly be awarded cold, hard cash in online tournaments to become the Absolute Champion!
In this MMA fighting game, you will build a unique fighter by choosing gender, ethnicity, skin color, and facial features. You will then choose from 10 fighting styles: Boxing, Kickboxing, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Wresting, Krav Maga, Kung-fu, Muay Thai, Capoeira, and Nhat Nam.
Once your fighter's characteristics have been chosen, you then can sign your very first sponsor. Each sponsor you sign gives your fighter specific benefits. For example, one sponsor may offer you free energy drinks while another may allow you discounts for sports clothing. Strategic sponsorship will enable your fighter to increase in rankings throughout career game play.
The fighter will have some basic needs that will need to be met such as food, medicines and energy. The fighter will need to be healthy in order to be able to compete. We have tried to keep the RP as real as possible therefore it will be necessary for a player to give nourishment and healthcare to the fighter.
There are opportunities to train a fighter for future fights with in-game coaches and other exercises. This will allow the player to maximize the fighter before facing against an opponent.
AC uses a turn-based fighting system that focuses on cunning and strategy. This game is all about watching your opponent and reacting to his moves with strategic thinking. In normal play a one-on-one fight will last 10 minutes during which there are three rounds and two breaks. Here you will match wits with your opponent in the ring.
A tournament system has been added in which players from all over the world may compete to become the Absolute Champion. A player will be able to choose from several levels of difficulty and sizes of tournaments.
When creating your character, many of the choices you make are of great importance. There are four(4) body types for male fighters and two(2) body types for female fighters. Male fighter body types include: heavy, lean, trim and muscular. Female fighter body types include trim and muscular.
Each body type is designed to complement certain fighting styles. For example: A heavy body type will work well for a wrestler or boxer, but not a capoeira fighter or karate champion. You should decide which body type and fight style you prefer most so that you create ultimate efficiency.
There will be a single-player option so that players can learn the system, practice with their fighter, and prep for multiplayer combat. The single-player missions will be interesting and competitive. Instead of having sequential missions, which eventually end, we have endeavored to create repeatable missions.
Conceptually, there will be a world map graphic which will visually allow the player to see many different geographic bout titles for which they can compete. To win a title, the player must first compete against NPC (non-player character) bots until the final title bout. During the title bout, the player is pit against a bot representing the current reigning PC (player character) title winner. Once the bout is over and the player has won, the player then becomes the new reigning champion.
Once you win your title you start to earn bonus in-game currency as the champion. Winning several titles will allow you to earn more in-game currency. You remain the champion until another PC replaces you. Your reign as champion may be short or long, but you may continually try to reclaim your title any time.
We noticed that there were many games which force players to pay to progress in the game but give them nothing in return, so we went out of our way to flip that concept on its head. AC is all about competition! You will have many opportunities to pit your skills against other players, whether in one-on-one combat for in-game currency or full tournaments with cash prizes. Tournaments are the core experience of Absolute Champion.
Some online fight simulators use your stats to resolve a fight in about three seconds. AC is different in that you are able to control attacks, defenses, and most importantly, strategy. Each fight is a back-and-forth battle of wits and strategy. The turn-based fight is both live and interactive. Once both players have chosen their desired attack and/or defense, the sequence is simulated and the players must adapt their strategy to the outcome. The simulation is based on pre-calculated, fixed percentages and is not randomized, allowing for better strategy and competition.
We have even built tools for you to be able to analyze and react to an opponent's actions. You control what type of attack and the location of the strike. You can even control how much energy the fighter uses during each move.

Risks and challenges
Because we have been hard at work developing the game for some time now, we have already been able to fix many issues that have arisen. Sometimes though, problems come from nowhere, and there is no way to predict them. We will do our best to prevent delay by fixing issues as soon as possible.
