We've been busy these past few weeks, and have been sharing some exciting pictures on our Facebook page. Let us give you a summary of all that has happened so far. We still have a lot of work to do but are making some awesome progress. Thank you again for your support!!
The grip is the most time consuming component of Runbell and is determining our production schedule. The die cast mold has been complete and we will be doing test runs with test finishes this week. Next week, we will be getting final samples for our approval. We will approve the samples before starting mass production.
The next most critical component is the bell dome. The domes have been stamped and their dimensions confirmed. We have to be careful to maintain a quality look with great quality sound. The initial stamped domes sound great. We still have to polish them, engrave them, and make the pink gold version. The bells still have a lot of work and we will be receiving final samples next week.
The Screws and Washers
We received 10,000 gold colored screws and washers before the Kickstarter campaign started in early May. Now the pink gold screws and washers are complete as well.
The silicone inserts have been finished and will be delivered to our workshop this week or next. Here is a picture of the molding machine and the finished product.
Boxes and Pouches
The boxes and pouches are progressing and will be finished in time for final assembly of all components. Hopefully, we will have some production pictures of the boxes and pouches during our next update.
Next update, completed samples?
Thanks again for being awesome! We'll continue to share more frequent updates on Facebook and Twitter so check us out there too. We should receive all major components next week and will be posting pictures of completed samples online as soon as we can!
