Desolate is an apocalyptic adventure tale that follows your main character Ghost, a bounty hunter in the heart of Texas. Ghost has been hired to save the life of a young girl who has been kidnapped. On his journey he encounters several different challenges including a hooded killer who may or may not be out to get him.
Meet The Creative Team Behind Desolate
Michael first came up with the idea to turn Desolate into a comic in 2014 while in law school at Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky. He created a script and found an artist to carry out his dream. He wrote the script as a way to be creative since was he was no longer an active musician due to school. He is now a compliance coordinator at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Carl is a freelance comic creator based out of Talisay, Cebu. His work can be found in Fracture Comics' Hellfire. He has also done work for Crazy Monkey Ink's Midnite's Avenger.
Mike J. Hall-colorist
Mike is a freelance artist based out of Southeastern, Ky. His resume includes working as a flatter on Image Comic's Grrl Scouts: Magic Socks earlier this year. He also worked as the colorist for Crowntaker Studio's Basketball Lawyers. His list of clients include The Toy Chest Children’s Charity based in Lexington, KY, Chicago area sportscaster and SI.com columnist Julie DiCaro, and actor/comedian George Lopez.
Megan is making her comic creator debut on Desolate. Her passion for comics and graphic art skills make her perfect for the job.
Bill Roark- Cover Artist
Bill is a freelance artist based out of Southeastern Ky. He has done work for Upper Deck and Marvel Comics' Marvel Premier line.
How We Plan To Use The Funds
As you know creating a comic is an expensive project. We want you to know where you're hard earned money is going. RSRG Publishing has taken care of the creative team cost but we need your help with print cost. Print cost will take up over 60% of all the money raised. We will also be using close to 20% on Kickstarter rewards such as prints, stickers,having commissions done. 10% will go to shipping you your copies of Desolate and awesome rewards for helping make this happen We plan to ship out all rewards as late as the end of May 2018. The final 10% will go toward Kickstarter expenses.
We are excited to offer you several different options as far as commissions go. We are excited to have our colorist Mike J. Hall do several different sketch levels from 5 x7 black and whites to 9.5x11 full color head sketches. We also have our cover artist Bill Roark offering 9.5 x 11 full color head sketches as well. The newest artist to our commission list is from tattoo artist Cody Smith. Cody works full time at Quality Custom Tattoos in Somerset,KY he is lending his skills to project offering to do 9.5 x 11 full color head sketches as well.

Risks and challenges
All projects can come with risk though it will be low with Desolate. All the art is completed and is currently in it's final stages of layout. It will be ready to go to print as soon as the goal is reached at the completion of this Kickstarter.
Any challenges that may come up during the printing,shipping, or
other stages of this project will be addressed as soon as they pop up.
