$1.44 Million!

I think it's only fitting that we start with a note of thanks from Kevin Siembieda.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters, not only those who backed this project, but also those who helped spread the word. We couldn't have done this without you. Thank you so very much. Now it's up to us, Palladium Books and Ninja Division, to make this game everything we all want it to be.

With Appreciation,
Kevin Siembieda

What a ride! It still hasn't really sunk in yet here. Has it for you?

Ninja Division and the rest of Palladium Books would like to echo Kevin's thanks for your tremendous support. Now, because of your efforts, Robotech RPG Tactics is not just a reality, it's on the path to being an absolutely incredible success.

You've already created the foundation of a strong community. We were fortunate to have one of the best comment sections we've ever seen. You were informative, helpful, and most of all passionate about Robotech, and the potential of the game to come. We encourage you all to continue what you have started, and we are committed to helping you. Our goal is nothing less than to have an amazing player base the moment the game launches. Give yourselves a round of applause, earned it!

So, what's next?

That's the big question isn't it? We've been working feverishly behind the scenes all through the Kickstarter and we're not about to stop now.

First off we'll be sending out the Kickstarter Survey to get an initial round of pledge information from you. After that we will send out information on the pledge manager.

It's going to take us a bit of time to get everything set up, so don't be surprised if you don't receive the survey for a couple of weeks.

After that it's the long wait, but it won't be empty. We'll be providing you with constant updates as we progress along the final stages of making the game.

The Kickstarter may be over, but strap yourself in because the long road back to Earth has just begun!

Just remember not to expect it by the December 2013 date it will be closer to June 2014. While I will be happy if I get it before January and love Soda Pop's sculpts I expect that the shear size of the success will overwhelm production facilities. Relic Knight's Kickstarter was due to be delivered by May but will not be sent until November at the earliest so I will be adding 6 months on to the due date myself.

@Scot Pope - I think they're gonna send out a survey in a few weeks asking what you want to get. Also I think there's gonna be an optional pledge manager so people can increase their pledge if they want to get some of those unlocked add-ons?

Don't quote me on both of those things though.

I have been trying since the 19th to access the "manage update" area but cannot see said icon on your kickstarter to get the extras that can be purchased. This has been getting me a little overwrought as I now see that the kickstarter program has finished. How can I access the 'manage update' to order these add-ons?

Well, that was a pretty crazy ride, but exciting. Shame we couldn't make it to the last stretch goals, but the Ninjas have already been hella generous and I'm excited to see these. Now the long wait begins... (^_^)

Ninjas, could there be any way to get the Experimental MPA even though we didn't hit the price? Even if it's like $5 for the upgrade sprue or something I'd still be willing to do it because they look pretty awesome.

      Cough...(climbs out of wreckage)

I survived micronians! And the SDF-1 has been destroyed!

(Raises clenched fist into the air)

      VICTO......what?

      Cadice survived too? Blast it!

I didn't have the money. Otherwise I would've been crazy enough. However, they did give me a blueprint to slowly building it :D

      I'll second Maou_Mint's comment.

Since we were making such a strong push...and I'm certain given another 30min-1hr we would have had it, how about an option to purchase the Experimental Nousjadeul-Ger Kit during the post-Kickstarter Pledge Survey. It's such an amazing looking concept that it would be a shame for it to be left out.

    28. Psi Cop on May 21, 2013

@Palladium Thanks so much for the great KS and all the bonuses and rewards! This is only my second KS but I've appreciated what I've seen. December can't come soon enough for me.

When I saw this KS, I was instantly taken back to some of my earliest days of building models. I lived in a little Podunk town on the Oregon coast, but had an awesome toy store with all kinds of rare models. Several of my earliest models were of the various Valkyries in their different configs. I even had the original launch bay model with them. This just brings me back to being that 11-year old boy.

@Robert Thanks to you too for keeping that Pledge Calculator up-to-date. It was a big help for me to get my pledge level right with the add-ons!

    29. Steven Remington on May 21, 2013

This is the first Kickstarter I've ever funded that a friend also got in on. We both can't wait for December and the games that will follow!

Not sure how big a crowd I'm in but I'm really happy about the experimental units and hope the male power armour versions show up during the pledge manager phase.

Honestly, looking at what I will be getting with my Showdown pledge, plus some more, I feel like a thief in the night. I can't wait to get these models are start playing.

Astounding. I am so looking forward to my army of MACROSS mecha toys - and even a game to play with them with! :-D

    43. Brian Ledbetter on May 20, 2013

I'm happy to say that we all did a great job donating. I'm sad to say I feel this thing went out with a whimper instead of a bang. By placing those non-canon experimental units as the final updates, I feel the fans simply didn't care enough about them to finish them off. I know there wasn't much left to explore but there were a few things still. Like Commanchero Assault Helicopters, the battle mace and GU-11 gun pod upgrades for the Spartans, Strike Veritech options for the fast packs (I know it's Macross, but so is the VEF), or a special Khyron MPA sculpt. I just feel it peetered out at the end there instead of exploding like Dolza's command ship at the End of Force of Arms. Good job overall, just better luck next time.

    44. Monty Maxwell on May 20, 2013

I am very happy about the game and the models. I loved the show as a kid, and as an adult wargamer I'm extremely excited that this could become a reality. We are going to have a lot of fun with this! :)

Is there any particular Web site or forum to visit to see updates on the game's development and maybe contribute ideas?

    49. Andrew McKay on May 20, 2013

@Jordan-don't worry, you'll be able to adjust it after the fact. The Kickstarter pledge manager is indeed locked and will not open ever again. However, ND will input our information into a third-party pledge management system that operates outside the Kickstarter system. We'll get emails asking if we want to adjust/increase our pledge and instructions on how to do so. If you decide to increase you will have payment options, likely including PayPal.
