I was under the pretense that the models would allow for a wide variety or poses. I was hoping for socket like joints that would afford a massive range of movement....

      And maybe more action-oriented pose.

To be fair, Rick and Roy's fighters are just standard fighters of their types as well. It's the pilots that make them special which will likely be reflected in their stat cards.

    4. Scott Lemay on May 1, 2013

Is Khyron's Glaug any different from a normal one? I have seen first 30 episodes, and so far the few that show his pod look the same as any other....

As someone who is poor i am glad for what i am getting. I am also glad to be able to add on next month. They have put together a wonderful package so far. They cant give us everything we want sometimes or else after the kickstarter it will fail as they gave all the funds to us in free gifts. What i do want to know is if they will offer add on rule books that we can get early either in pdf or hard copy. I think i could squeze out enough so i wont have to share in the first game with the other player/s.

      @Dunrick
      Thoughts exactly!!
      hahahah

    7. Robotek19 on May 1, 2013

      @Styx: no word yet

    8. Robotek19 on May 1, 2013

@Steal: as Chris said, the interview with Kevin said there's plans to convert characters from RPG to Tactics

    9. Styx on May 1, 2013

Any hints on squad sizes for the battlesuits?

    10. Christopher Marti on May 1, 2013

@Steak: The rules are supposed to include a way for you to convert RPG characters into tactics special characters, so I'd say yes.

    11. Pineapple Steak on May 1, 2013

      Mwahahaha! My insidious deeds expand!

    12. Nari on May 1, 2013

      Curse you Pineapple Steak!

Your avatar forced me out to my local diner where I got them to cook one up off-menu.

      Mmmmmm.

I'm super excited about the latest updates. I hope we get Khyron in some Power Armor, but would be equally happy with 'his Glaug'.

    14. Pineapple Steak on May 1, 2013

Believe it or not, but I usually avoid playing with special characters. Even in GW games. I'd rather make my own character and my own story, then using a unique character with special rules. It's a continuity freak thing for me.
I wonder if the game will have rules for making your own special character. THEN I could get behind using these models in a game.

    15. Brian on May 1, 2013

      Eric,

I have found in life it is best not to complain about things you are getting for free.

    16. Kevin S Is a Terrible Business Man on May 1, 2013

I wonder if we'll get two versions of Miria? Has amazon fixed their tech problems? I want to get me some pa and a Mac.

    17. Greg Q on May 1, 2013

@Caelen Right, I put all the generic VF's in group and the character's group contains Rick and Roy. VF's = 16 + Characters = 4 for the 20 VF's. It was easier to split those out when doing the squad spreadsheet since characters haven't been mentioned how they are added to a squad. Thanks!

    18. Caelen Rivers on May 1, 2013

@Greg - you're actually getting 20 VFs in the Showdown. 12 VF-1A, 2 Rick, 2 Roy, 2 "Officer" sprue, and 2 extra VFs. At least according to the new graphic they posted.

    19. Alex Clarke on May 1, 2013

@bar thats my guess for kyrons officer pod

@others. Enough with the "id rather this". All will be unlocked. This KS isnt going to roll over and die. We will have the entire macross saga mecha in mini form

    20. bar1scorpio on May 1, 2013

Speaking of unlocks, we're roughly 30 backers away from the 2400 unlock.

    21. Brian Ledbetter on May 1, 2013

The next goal has me disappointed, I would rather see the new models come out before we get upgrades to existing packs. Once you've got the Armored Veritech, Super Veritech, and Female Power armor out, then I will be a happy camper. Then I want to see Zentradi foot soldiers and vehicles, but those would just be icing on the cake.

    22. Brian Brenner on May 1, 2013

Any information on how many make up a squadron for deployment? Do o we need 6 or are they add on's to the Regults?

I'd rather PURCHASE Khyron, and get a free Gnerl or something... this way, we can all purchase whatever heroes we want, but get free stuff in the game that is always useful.
      .
Oh well, thats what I get I guess for pledging $1300 :(

    24. bar1scorpio on May 1, 2013

Or maybe the Khyron Glaug, besides having an adjusted game card of some sort, will be one with the Space Booster on the back.

    25. Greg Q on May 1, 2013

That's awesome that this update came during my lunch break... and that I happen to be at my desk.

My comparison/squad spreadsheet sheet has been updated with this latest goal.
Let me know if there's anything missing!

      https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc…

    26. Shawn Rowlands on May 1, 2013

@ Eric - Sell them on Ebay? Convert them? Give them different paint schemes? Turn them into wreckage/victory markers? There are numerous solutions to owning duplicate models.

I for one am very happy to be getting a Khyron model. I'm only getting one, but I definitely don't think I'd feel 'screwed' if I was getting four. That seems a bit hyperbolic.

    27. judgedoug on May 1, 2013

@Eric Khyron pilots a standard Glaug. so just pretend you're getting another Glaug.

Greaet, another hero pose. Since I'm doing Blitzkrieg, Khyron will mark 9 miniatures I will have no real use for, guess I can treat them as standard but will have to pain them that way, and it'll look funny as everybody will know that particular pose is a hero character. :(
      .
Out of all the things to pay for on TOP of your order, the hero's are the best... giving them away free screws those of us buying multiple sets. I'd rather have all sorts of things instead of 4 of the same hero.

    29. Robotek19 on May 1, 2013

      @Michael: On May 20th?

    30. Michael D'Auben on May 1, 2013

Dang! The costs for the "add-ons" that I *have* to buy have already overtaken my basic Battle Cry pledge amount. When will the (my) madness end? :-O

    31. Robotek19 on May 1, 2013

@Fabio, could always be Khyron outside of Glaug. Or Glaug with cockpit open, or Khyron riding a Monster...

    32. Brian Brenner on May 1, 2013

These PAs are awesome. Can't wait to see the FPAs too. Fine, I will add more to my pledge!

    33. Fabio Martino on May 1, 2013

Kyron's Glaug was identical to any other Glaug. So it makes me wonder will this simply be a new pose, or will the Add-on be $20 for what essentially amounts to a Kyron character card?

    34. Nicholas on May 1, 2013

      @Ryan...I hope not....

    35. Missing avatar

KS backers deserve better than this, PB! on May 1, 2013

@Ninja/PB: Thanks for the update! Can you post the preliminary male power armor squardron rules here in the comments? It helps pledgers to know how many add ons they'll need for a legal squadron and they weren't in the previous squadron rules update since they were yet to be unlocked.

I wonder at what level the Kyron and Azonia making out pack is going to be added to the kickstarter.

    37. Beermonkey on May 1, 2013

"Damn it Grel! When will this blasted Kickstarter hit $475,000!" Lord Khyron (paraphrased)
