Free puzzle ebooks!

Posted by Roy Leban (Creator)

We know you've all been wondering where your free puzzle ebooks are. Well, they're finally here. As we've mentioned, we're paying our constructors royalties on the books we're giving away, so that introduced some complications in tracking them. And, of course, everything takes longer than expected.

We've just issued each of you a coupon for a free book valued up to US $5, which includes every title we currently sell except the Year of Puzzles itself. If you visit your account page on our web site, you'll see the coupon and instructions. Here's the short version:

  • Sign in to Puzzazz within the Puzzazz app
  • Choose the book you want
  • Turn to a puzzle after the free one(s)
  • Tap the blue Redeem button at the top
  • Enter the code ks and tap Submit.

If you don't have an iOS device, don't worry. The coupon doesn't expire and we're still working on the versions of Puzzazz for Android and Windows 8.

If you don't see the coupon on your account page, check to make sure that you're using the same email address that you gave us in your survey. If it's still not there, let us know.

In other news ...

We've got the next three unique puzzles for the Year of Puzzles almost ready to go out. We're sorry they're late, but we're working hard to make sure that we give you great, fun puzzles.

As always, we appreciate your support.

@Sonia: Sorry, but the Year of Puzzles is the only title we're making available as a PDF. We may also make them available on the web in the future, but that is a lower priority than other digital devices.

However, we've worked really hard to make puzzles very solvable, even on small screen devices. If you hide the keyboard and use TouchWrite, you can see entire puzzles and both Across and Down clues at the same time (Puzzazz is the only puzzle-solving app that supports that on an iPhone). It's actually a pretty good experience.

Is it possible to get the ebook as a pdf? I'd rather print out the puzzles than try to solve them on a tiny screen.
