The Final Puzzle — Choose Your Own Location

Here it is, the final puzzle in the Year of Puzzles, and, this time, you get to pick the location. Don't worry, it will all make sense when you read the story.

We're counting on you to save the world of puzzles from destruction by The Collective, and we know you're up to the task. To solve the final puzzle, the meta-meta, you'll need the three keys from the meta puzzles you just solved. Once you solve it, you'll be able to log into the Collective's master account and shut down their systems. We don't think they're expecting it.

Once you've entered the Collective's password and shutdown command, the Conclusion will automatically unlock in the Puzzazz app. If you're solving on paper, follow the instructions to read the Conclusion on our web site.

We know the satisfaction of solving all the puzzles and shutting down the Collective (and saving puzzles for all of us!) is its own reward, but we decided that you should get an actual reward too, plus a bonus reward you can share with a friend. Read the details at the end of the Conclusion.

If you're having any troubles finishing up all the puzzles, we will be releasing a set of hints for every puzzle next week. We're waiting a week so we don't have anybody accidentally spoiled.

If you're solving in the Puzzazz app, just open the Year of Puzzles to read and solve An Undisclosed Location. If you're solving on paper, open the Year of Puzzles page to download chapter 23.

And if you don't yet own the Year of Puzzles, there's no time like the present. And there's no present quite like the 22 unique puzzles in the Year of Puzzles. More details are at http://www.puzzazz.com/yearofpuzzles.

Thanks for the nice works. Glad to hear we finished 18 years early!

For most software projects, we (cynical) managers have learned to take the time estimates given by the programmers and increment both the number _and_ the unit. That is, if they tell me three hours, I'll budget four days. Four days, and I should budget five months. So by rights, it should have taken two _decades_ to defeat the Collective. Yet we have completed the mission in only two years! A successful project, by my measures.

Thanks for the innovative puzzles and the enjoyable setting.
